Not discrediting Duncan here but you never hear people bring up the whole "needing help" narrative when it comes to him even though he's consitantly been surrounded by HOF level talent right from the get go on top of a HOF coach...dudes pick and choose who to prop up/discredit with the dumbest reasons possible

Tony and Manu are HOF but they aren't on the same level of Shaq, Wade, Bosh, Gasol

The Admiral would like to disagree with you...

David Robinson was great but he was on the decline by 2001
So? Those 5 seasons before didn't happen?

4 seasons

Yes he was good but a 33 year old David Robinson was not Shaq, Wade or Gasol level

Its kinda talking out of both sides of your mouth when someone says Lebron was only reason the Heat made the Finals but yet saying the Heat were more talented than all the teams Michael Jordan faced in the Finals

Pau wouldn't be a HOF player if he didn't come play with kobe

Love would have been a HOF player if he didn't come play with lebron
What?!

How in the world was Love guaranteeing himself a HOF speech in Minny already?

And Pau was already solidifed as one of the greatest international players ever before Kwame went to Memphis.

The only argument against Bron is the 2011 Finals, he dominated in the playoffs the last 3 years in Miami and was the only reason they even made it to the Finals last year.

If you wanna fault him for not beating a Spurs team that played the best Finals in NBA history, you're just an idiot and should take a shot of bleach.
2007 Finals?

and gasol was also known as a first round and out kinda guy as well..... dude got slandered much before he hooked up with the lakers.

I'm not arguing that he is just that the talent has always been there on his squads on top of Popp. Now he has the reigning DPOY. I don't see why players need to get penalized for having other good players on their squads . Having just 1 has never been enough to win a chip.

2007 Finals?

That's what I thought. All those Heat teams were better equipped to win more than that Cavs team. If you could let Bron off the hook in any Finals it was the Cavs one. That team stood no chance.

Yeah I need to try whatever seamanup had when he said Love was gonna be a HOFer had he stayed in Minneapolis

^'NBA was in a lockout that year too.
Hate when people say this.

EVERYONE... PLAYED... THE SAME AMOUNT OF GAMES.

It's not like the Spurs won because they only played a 60-game regular season while everyone else toughed out an 82.

All things being equal, they came out on top.

Tim Duncan is the best 4 and best player of his generation.

Given how great two way bigs impact the game more than guards I don't see how it's debatable
If only Duncan's impact could have resulted in his team beating kobes team in the playoffs more than once last decade

But to be fair Phil Jackson coaching circles around Greg "overrated" pop had a lot to do with it

If only Tim Duncan could have played 1st team all nba players his whole career.
Manu would be James harden if he had his own team tho

Tony Parker is the best playoff pg tho

Kawaii is the GOAT sf tho

Why are you so upset tho?

It's not my fault that you linked an article, read it, went "OH ****" and had to edit your worthless post. Next time, take an extra few seconds to do your research.

89 Pistons, 02 Lakers both had more dominating performances than your Spurs last year.

Now since I proved you wrong I'm upset.

I edited to post to highlight the exact stats because I know you struggle with basic comprehension, forgive me for tryna help you.

Like I said, you need to learn to troll correctly if that's the only thing you can contribute because I've had more enlightening basketball discussions with toddlers who are too short to see the TV.

& if those teams had more dominating performances they would've had the highest point margin and fg% which belongs to Spurs.

Try again sport.

Absolutely true.

But he was still LARGELY considered as one of the greatest int'l payers ever.

Exactly, + dude was 22.

Let me know the next time a team with a player like Larry Hughes as a second option even makes the Finals let alone the playoffs.

Mike Brown owes Bron a lot of money.

That really shows Lebron's strength - that was a standing throw. Even from halfway I need to fling it a little after a few steps to make it that easy.

Wasn't Boobie Gibson one of the main guys on that squad? That should say enough
laugh.gif
might of been the worst team to ever make the finals that ive seen ..... those nets of the early 00s werent as bad as that cavs team...only pass he gets .  hes still 2 out of 4 not counting that one.

yet people argue that lj has dominated the east like its a great accomplishment ....

whats does that mean. he dominated a bunch of good squads at best ... i fail to see how that is  greatness for a goat caliber of player. .....

No, because of stuff like this:
#3 and #4, there's more but you don't deserve anymore of a response beyond this.

There's the #'s for your wanna be shock jock ***. You're a poverty version of Skip Bayless without the paycheck, stop hating on other men and learn to be objective or at least be funny.
Try quoting correctly next time too, unless you struggle with that as much as you struggle with comprehension.
Less of that. More of the facts and presenting cases and making points.

Wit never hurt, but getting personal isn't wit.
