Let me find out the media is pulling a sneaker news. Reading NT for info and posting hours later. Did they give me credit for the stat? Ha ha ha

started watching xfiles at halftime......looks like i missed out

1) dude that was running down the middle had an open lay.

2) coast to coast

3) step back

passing to Dwight 25 feet out shouldnt have been an option

He made the wrong choice at the end. It's too bad because he was so solid all game long. He shouldn't be making these mistakes any more. This ain't the finals against the Heat.

Movie or show? It's coming back in January. Everything is. Martin is even coming back this fall supposedly with Ashanti playing Gina. Smh

we know how that worked out though. i'll go with a set play 10 out of 10 times with that much time on the clock.

Ok man.

really depends what you want to do with the clock

you realistically have 4-5 seconds of the defense scrambling before it gets set. so if the rockets are okay with attacking and scoring with 3-4 seconds left then no time out is the best choice

but if the plan was to get a last second shot off leaving no chance for the Ws to counter then its better to run a set play.

I'd be 100% behind and in favor of Lil B making the official playoff song for next year. Who's with me?

I don't even understand how this is arguable.

People saying Steph was right there the whole time.

yes he was...IN TRANSITION...BACKPEDALING. We see Harden attack the basket in that situation 9/10 times. He just had a brain fart last night.

Where is he going? Seriously? It's one vs two for the whole 8 seconds. Ariza didn't space well. He shoulda shot to the corner to drag his defender with him.

thing about sprinting down the court trying to catch the defense off guard is that the rest of your team will also be in a scrabble to figure out what to do

Seems like they weren't sure which they wanted, which is how they ended up with that mess.

James Harden is 6'5 and a good 235. The defense is backpedaling. How do you NOT attack that? I can see if we're talking about a half court set with the defense in position. They were NOT in position.

If you're Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson...you're hoping and praying he doesn't attack...and he let them off the hook.

He does it 239895854394 times a game. Why didn't he do it there?

guy ran into a triple team. I'm going with a set play and if i fail by it so be it. rather go out with my best chances than gambling that theres a mismatch in the open court. i dont care about letting the defense set up, i want my offense set up in the best position to succeed. not with a guy going 90 feet with the ball to run into a triple team.

There was no triple team until Harden decided to stop the ball. He had them in transition. Once he stopped your correct. The point others are making is him not attacking caused the situation to begin with.

Go back a page. Look at that screen shot dude posted. That was before he passed out to Dwight.

Look at where Steph is. Look at where Klay is. You can't tell me he had a lane to attack, one versus two.

I'm a Rockets fan. I'm salty as hell the Rockets didn't steal it last night. But at the end of the day, all fandom aside, I can't see how people are saying James choked. Or made a mistake. The idea was right. But once he crossed half court, it was one versus two the whole time. At that point, it's a wrap. Steph and Klay were back before Harden even crossed half court. It was doomed to begin with. UNLESS. James made the pass to Jones. But with Klay right there, it's tough man.

fair point. to me him stopping is the result of them not knowing what they wanted to do. maybe he was expecting a timeout, maybe he was just confused and didn't know what to do. either way, I'm setting something up.

Yall act like McHale even calls plays, you really want him to draw something up with the game on the line?

Even he knows his weakness, hence no timeout.

Dwight should have pulled off the superman dunk/ layup

orlando dwight wouldve done that
like i mentioned shouldve stroke that

if james went for it, theres was going to be a whole bunch of contact since there wasnt an opening, but that's his bread and butter.
