We have Smashburger out here now too. Its ok, but pretty overpriced for what it is, IMO.

My biggest peeve with this state is their need to fit in, or belong. They are so DESPERATE to matter to the country, it's ridiculous.

Any worldwide event happens, and this state tries to incorporate itself into it. I don't know if other states do that as well, but it's insane.

9/11, 9 freaking 11, and the Oregon broadcasts were trying to say that we were being targeted next. Al Quieda couldn't find this state if we flew them here personally. The world trade building in Portland is like 6 stories. I've seen slides taller than that.

We got all kind of gourmet burger places around here now. For anyone in LA or visiting, I would highly recommend Plan Check in West LA on Sawetelle. They don't just have burgers, but the house specialty burger is amazing. Excellent beer selection as well.
