OFFICIAL 2016 @HEAT PLAYOFF THREAD

Man at this rate I'll take any trade!

If we can get rid of McRoberts and Birdman for either Joe Johnson or Rudy Gay, I'll take it.

Even Bosh for Blake Griffith I'll take.

bosh for griffin makes no sense. however, i have been a heavy advocate of chasing joe johnson at nearly any cost. rudy gay? not so much. hes not really what we need.
When Eric Spolstra is your coach, stuff like this shouldn't even be asked.

yessss..... join me in the hatred. let the hate consume you

When your top guys can't score or get stops you get a game like today. This has nothing to do with Whiteside not being in the game in the 4th quarter. Nothing to do with coaching. The Heat couldn't score. They missed shots they usually make. Simple as that.

They should have been shooting in the gym to make those shots. Develop that shot.....

Not a good enough excuse "missed shots they usually make"

Also, Spoelstra's fault

They all could share a lil' blame tbh
Whiteside on sitting late, "It was surprising. But ain't nothing I can do about it."

Hassan said he would not ask Spo about not playing fourth, "We've talked so many times already. There's no reason to keep talking about it."

Of whether he could have made a late difference, Whiteside said, "I don't know, man. Ii don't know,"
— Ira Winderman (@IraHeatBeat) February 7, 2016
Erik Spoelstra says they should've hacked DeAndre Jordan more. He went 3/14 on FTs.

bro.... the frustration between whiteside and spo is bubbling just underneath the surface. i hope spo isnt the reason we lose this guy come signing time. itd be absolutely heartbreaking for us to put up the money for him and he says something like "i just cant play for that guy" or "im going to a team that doesn't sit me in the 4th"

The scary part is, there's probably some people that would rather keep Spo over Whiteside. :wow:

We need to collect ourselves and look at this from an objective point of view. We will never know why Spo made the call to sit Hassan and I don't think that event in particular culminated that loss to the Clipps. I get Hassan's frustration yes, but give Spo credit on this accord at the very least...he's not a coach that would purposely inhibit development of a player. He hasn't struck me as that while being with this org for over 2 decades now. My loyalty eternally lies with the players that adorn that Jersey we faithfully cheer for night in and night out...But I firmly stand by coach Spo. Lets continue to be patient with the process Heat family and remember that back in 07 and 08 these outcries were non existent prior to the Bron era. I get it that we have set the bar high as far as standards and we are undoubtedly a top tier organization. But enough of the consummate slander of Spo. The guy is loyal to his players and his team. Does he make mistakes...unequivocally. But allow the process to see its way through.
