OFFICIAL 2016 @HEAT PLAYOFF THREAD

For all the Dragic talk, I'm not worried at all. The man ain't have no lovin' from his wife in over 3 months.

He and the team will figure it out. I actually thought Dragic played damn good ball the first half against the Timberwolves, so the potential is there. He just needs to have a complete game from beginning to end.

The silver lining in all of this is that he's getting his normal shots... he just needs to make them. As fans, I know we all want instant gratification... but it's a process. The fact that we are winning games with Dragic playing mediocre ball is a testament to this teams talent.

Give him 9 more games, then you can criticize...

Nevertheless, t'was a good team win tonight. Still inconsistent at times, but they did a lot better making free throws and limiting the turnovers. Plus we saw good Amare' tonight. I can't complain.

Doubt we win that game if Boogie is playing, which is disturbing..

I think the team would be better suited if we had more a floor general as our PG (Rondo

) rather than a combo guard like Dragic that looks to score first rather than setting up his teammates.

wed be better suited if dudes could score when the ball was placed in their hands consistently. if we could bring everyone up to like at least 40% ACTUAL shooting (not counting layups and dunks etc etc) we'd be cool. but dudes scared to shoot, or NEED to be scared to shoot. we looking good. but itl get exposed in post season. we gotta put in work in practice to tighten up. yall saying dragic can bounce back, lets hope so. cuz the brightest lights on the team are hands down Tyler and Whiteside. and that technically isn't good news when theres a team full of other stars and vets....

Put it this way if dragic isn't producing the way we need him to were not winning anything or making a deep push this year. He has to play how he played in Phoenix for us to make a push.

The harsh, brutal, and factual reality right here. This is what it all boils down to whether you do or do not support Goran. He has to be exceptional point blank period.

With that said, I have no concern nor worry that he'll eventually figure things out. We will be just fine

I'd like to think that Dragic will come good now that he's reunited with his fam but yea he hasn't lived up to that massive contract yet.

Dirty Sprite seems like he consistently outplays him on a nightly basis

I wish Cousins would've played, probably would have got more Whiteside. Him playing only 18 mins is strangely absurd but what ev's

Let's not get into what if scenarios... Had Boogie played it would introduce a whole new set of variables and changed the whole outlook of that game. Sure the Heat could've lost, but It could've been an even bigger blowout had he played. The Kings made their run by playing small ball. And to keep it all the way funky...Outside of Belinelli going off in the 4th quarter, the Heat dominated the Kings even with Whiteside only playing 18 minutes.

And Rondo, for all the good that he does, is a guy who needs the ball waaaay more than Dragic. He's not a guy willing to sacrifice his game to win. Because he didn't get his way, he went out like a punk in Dallas... plus he can't shoot to save his life. :x

But to be honest, I feel like guys are just complaining to just complain at this point. Do y'all even remember 2010?? Bosh was THAT guy everyone was criticizing and saying was garbage. They completely ignored homie and called the squad the "Big 2"... Dudes were even calling dude Bosh Spice.

It took a 30 or so games before that 2010 squad found it's chemistry. Now 5 years and 2 championships later we're doing the same thing to Dragic and a to a lesser extent McRoberts.

Why are we judging every single player by how many points they are scoring? Have we learned anything from watching the Warriors or even teams like the Spurs? Guys like McRoberts are never never gonna fill up the stat sheet, but he will go out there and make winning plays. Can he be better... yes, but you can say that for the whole team.

11 games in, the team is 7-4. This Heat are trending up. This team is full of talented veterans and young guys. Dragic has shown he can be great, so why worry? Great players figure it out. Enjoy the process fellas.

On to the 76ers... #LetsGoHeat

Mcbob hardly ever looks to score, nor does he play much. The record says 7-4 but we haven't really beat anyone. Said this before....this is the sweet spot of the schedule. We really can't afford to lose ANY games, beginning of the season or not. Let us remember.....

Jan 8- Feb 5.

16 games: 14 on the road, 2 at home.

The 3 games after that stretch are: Clippers, Spurs, @Hawks.

Great contributions from Tyler Johnson

Amare looks like he has something left in the tank

Hard to gauge what we can get from wade on any given night

Gonna give goran a little more time to get it together.

But these are the games we lost in 2014. We're going to split the tough games throughout that January stretch, but we should be back in the mix in March. 3-4th Playoff spot. We should advance a series or two in the playoffs.

You can't fault a team for their schedule. Plus I'd rather look at the team's the Heat have lost to... Cavs, Hawks, Pacers, and Timberwolves.

Two of these losses are to teams who were in the Eastern Finals last year. Then you have a close loss to a decent Pacers squad and a stinker against a mediocre Timberwolves squad. I'll take that all day with all things considered.

As toast1985 toast1985 said, the Heat are winning games they were losing last year. The fact we expect this Heat team to beat the majority of their opponents is a good thing.

As for Wade, we have to temper our expectations with him. His health is where I gauge his success, we all know we can count on him in big games if he's available to play. Guys like Tyler Johnson, Gerald Green, and even Winslow will pick up the slack.

And I agree McBob needs to look for his shot more... he'll be wide open and still look to pass. But I think he'll gain more confidence in his shot the more he plays. For now I'm content with him being a play maker and extra rebounder. We had the same issues with Mike Miller back in 2011 and look how great he played when we needed him...

I'm not faulting the team for their schedule. I'm simply saying it's going to be tough so they have to take advantage now.

Splitting the games during that stretch would be ideal.

At this point I'd be happy if Dragic made an effort to at least get a tech showing me that he isn't just a body with a Jersey. I cannot deal with his lack of emotion on the court man

That first half was an embarrassment. Selfish basket ball on both ends. They aren't communicating, aren't making plays for each other, the ball is sticking. The same thing happened last year when the Heat faced the 76ers... They need to get outta this little funk and play the right way.

Why is it every year when we play these teams there guys have career games and all of a sudden can't miss shots?
