OFFICIAL 2016 @HEAT PLAYOFF THREAD

That was frustrating to watch between the turnovers and missed shots at the rim.

They gotta get Whiteside easy points at the start of games.

Deng's perimeter defense is missed.

The fact this game came down to Wade and Bosh making all the plays down the stretch means the rest of the team is out of rhythm and(or) playing bad. Give credit where its due, the Celtics did what they do best... create turnovers and play team ball. Plus they shot lights out for the majority of the game. There is a reason they made it to the playoffs last season.

This Heat team is not there yet. They are too sloppy with the ball and don't move the ball enough on offense. They'll get there though. Just gotta hang in there.

While I do agree they gotta get Whiteside more involved in the offense, he has to be better in the pick and roll game for him to get easier baskets. His screens are sloppy and are usually at bad angles. Plus he was in foul trouble the first half of the game. He never really got it going as a result.

They continue to allow mediocre and bad teams to come into the AAA and take leads.

Goran man

 we're 16 games in.

I liked the aggression from D-wade and CB tonight(minus the turnovers).

The Heat are have only lost 3 games at home though... you can't win every game leading the whole way. I thought it was too much hero ball from both Wade and Bosh tonight. They combined for 8 turnovers with 3 bad turnovers in the 4th quarter that sealed the victory for the other squad.

I like aggressive basketball just like you, but it has to be in the flow of the game. Too much hero ball IMO.

Dragic: 4-10, 9 points, 34mins, 3 assists, 10ppg. All for $17.5 million a year

McRobert: 6 points, 25mins. He's averaging 2 points a game... 2 points a game!! He's also shooting 28% from the field $5.5 million a year! :smh:

That Chalmers trade is looking bad and badder as these two bums continue to play like $#!+ and keep this team strapped for cash.

Winning....but building bad habits. Happened against Utah and Philadelphia as well. Hell, Houston sucks too. Maybe I'm expecting too much.

Anyway, I agree on the hero ball. Dragic and Whiteside should have gotten more looks.

Why do some of y'all think the Heat should automatically beat a team like the Celtics. They are a decent squad. They are not scrubs. They average 11 steals a game and have the #3 ranked defense in the league... they are a well coached team.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but the Heat and the Celtics pretty much the same team at this point. Both good defensive teams, with shaky offenses. Sure the Heat are trending up and have more talent, but they still don't know how to win yet.The Celtics are a squad who have a full year together and playoff experience.

It's gonna take losses like tonight for this team to learn how to win. We all have to temper our expectations. Its a looooong season and we to trust the process. After 16 games, this new look Heat team is 10-6. Nothing great, but far from bad.

Again, if this team still looks this bad in January then we have to worry BIG time...

We score less and shoot worse from three than the lakers even though they have Kobe to chuck shots.

Thankfully, we currently have an elite defense. If it was even average, we'd be in trouble.
Start feeding Whiteside more or at least pay him some attention. Inevitably I see it as the starters being scrambled sooner or later, they are too dependent on iso-ball it's crazy.

I'd bench Wade/Deng and start Winslow/Green. Wade/Dragic won't help us get the most out of either and if Dragic/Green/Winslow/Bosh/Whiteside could work, a bench of Tj/Wade/Deng/McBob/Bosh could make us beastly

playing Justise/McBob together is redundant and slowing down offense too often. Also would help McBob to play with some slashers and Wade could help him get involved more offensively

I've said it before if we plan on doing anything this year and making any noise dragic needs to play like a high caliber guard. He's not doing it right now. Spo needs to find a way to get him into a rhythm.

Word. Only 4 shots tonight from hassan :smh:. I think its more likely to be Deng or Goran, mainly because I can't imagine them asking wade to come off the bench.

Hard for me to imagine too but Dragic is a 14/5/4 player at best next to Wade.  They are two ball dominant guards that are too susceptible to tunnel vision. Got to break it up and I don't think they bench their newest contract

heat dun goofed.....how you let go of norris cole / mario chalmers who werent in demand and part of the culture but bring in mcbob and dragic ....

Not cause he needs to... But if the starters keep playing like diapers(together), something's going to be done sooner or later
I hear you but do you honestly think Wade would be cool with that? Even if it is better for the team (which I don't think it is), Wade IS the face of the franchise. Don't think his ego or pride would let him play as the 6th man, IMO

I think it's possible, if it had to happen I don't think he'd be really opposed.
