Another solid victory for the Heat. For all the hell coach Spo gets, he's done a great job getting guys to buy into his defensive system. Green is flourishing.

Playing STAT means you're taking away minutes from guys like Winslow and McRoberts. White Jesus > STAT right now, therefore he gets the minutes. But nothing is set in stone, if STAT does more with the limited minutes Spo gives him he'll start to get more playing time. I've seen crazier things happen in the NBA.

Spo will play Amare "here and there" as needed, but he's really not needed on a nightly basis. I've never once said to myself, "Damn, the Heat loss that game because STAT didn't play tonight." :lol:

Plus STAT doesn't really give you scoring off the bench. Guys like Gerald Green and Tyler Johnson give you scoring off the bench. STAT is an extra body at this point in his career, scoring is a bonus with him. This ain't 2010 STAT.

But with that said....

And I'll never say "Them boys lost, where the hell was McBob's 2 shot attempts". I will give McBob this, for a big he handles the ball well and he passes phenomenally, and I won't know him as a player, but I think there is a way STAT could play more without their minutes suffering. Winslow will get his minutes, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Winslow gets the starting nod by All-star break. I think STAT can still score the ball in the post and he'll rebound, but we need to see a larger sample size in order to really gauge where STAT is.

Most people in this thread including myself were saying we would be playing better if McRob was more aggressive shooting the ball. They were killing McRob a few games ago... :lol:

But its all good bro. Hopefully we can see STAT step up and play a few more minutes and relive the magic.

Fam, I'm not delusional, that magic isn't coming back, you're right, this isn't the 2010 STAT, and I'm gonna be 100 with you, I wish it was 2010 STAT, he was my favorite player at one point because of his athleticism, but injuries/age/no pt he'll never have that "magic" maybe at this point I'd be happy with a trick or ill illusion at this point, but he is still aggressive, at least offensively. Now, if McBob would do what we know he can do he'd be straight.
 
LOL. Sorry. Wizards have been struggling and we've played well, oops.
 
Sloppy play down the stretch. Wade's turnover and the Heat's inability to get stops at the end of the game really helped seal the game for the other team. I have to criticize Spo because he kept the starters out too long at the beginning of the 4th. The 2nd unit were getting stops, but they weren't able to score. By the time they got Wade and Dragic back in the game, the Wizards were getting into a rhythm.

You live and you learn. On to the next one.

I blame this loss on Spolstra!!

Wade and Co. we're cooking in the 3rd quarter and Spo sits that starting five with 3mins to spare in the 3rd till 7mins in the 4th. That's when DC started to get it's game back in that time span.

Also, why have arguabley the 2nd best player on the team (Whiteside) not get any minutes in the 4th quarter?? And this isn't the first, second, or third game this season Spo sat Whiteside for the whole 4th.

Here's how stupid Spo was for sitting Whiteside; 7-7, 14 pts, 3 blks, 1 pf, 4 rebs. And he sat him the whole 4th :wow: :smh:

I'm telling you Spo's madness will be the downfall for this team. Every f****** game it's some new damn lineup to close out the game :smh:
 
Not going to be too many "easy" wins with this team. We almost lost to the sixers among other things. Refs killed us at the end but regardless, not a good performance. Offensively, we got ideal contributions from everybody:

Dragic-20,9

Bosh-18,9

Wade-26,9,7

Whiteside-14

Obviously can't give up 113 points.
