OFFICIAL 2016 @HEAT PLAYOFF THREAD

I'm good with #10, we can def make the playoffs next year with a healthy squad.. So the Sixers can keep that pick..

3 Players the Miami Heat are considering taking at #10 in the draft.

Kelly Oubre

Stanley Johnson

Devin Booker

Overall, I like Devin Booker the most just because he seems the most ready to make an impact right away. He's arguably the best shooter in the draft, which the Heat really need. On top of that he's 6'6'' and has a high basketball IQ.

If not Booker, I like Kelly Oubre. He's long and plays some decent defense. Something the Heat could always use. Overall, I think we're in good position to improve with this pick. I'm very excited to see what Riley does.

If we get Stanley how do y'all think the Heat use him? It seems his biggest strength is his versatility. Do we trade away McBob for another shooter?

He's a athletic long player who if he puts in the work could be a great defender to. He also scores well and his jumper does need some work but its not bad. I'd be pleased with him coming off the bench for a year or 2. Or in till Bob is gone

Course not, trade McBob.

And Stanley is an 242 pound 6'7 18 YO, most SG/SF don't come in the league packed with his size and speed. (When we drafted Wade, he was 212, 6'4)

He's already got size and a great work ethic, he could learn tons from Wade/Deng and bring some size to our second unit

(Basically, size, youth, speed, and talent)

But I could see Detroit snagging him first. Good thing about being ten in this draft is that all the good Centers/Forwards are top 5/6, so we could still get a good guard if we missed out on Stanley(Henzonja, Booker, and Oubre maybe)

That's if we keep it

i really like stanley johnson But i dont know if we will have a chance at him depending on DEN, DET AND CHA.

im warming up to the idea of Devin booker. i like the idea of running a lineup of DRAGIC-WADE-BOOKER-MCROBERTS-BOSH at times for spacing but i fear we wont get enough rebounds.

I also like Mario Hezonja in that lineup as well. looks great on youtube but hopefully workouts reveal more

i also like TURNER for a replacement for birdman next year or even this year if the heat choose to trade him for the shooter we need

im not so fond of kelly oubre.

Stanley Johnson, Hezonja, and Winslow seem like the best fits imo. Winslow will surely be gone by 10, so I'm really hoping nobody else before us grabs Stan.

I agree ^, personally not big on Oubre.

After looking at those highlights I love how Wade's game has evolved over the years. His mid-range game and footwork are elite. And add on the fact he's still an elite passer. So blessed to have him in a Heat uniform.

Next year the Heat will have one of the best back courts in the league. A healthy Wade and Goran Dragic are scary. Both players can get buckets and play defense.

I can't wait until next season bruh... So much upside with our roster. 2 perennial all-stars, and all-star caliber PG and a young up a coming Center. Not to mention a top 10 pick with solid role players... YESSIR!! :smokin

And after watching these playoffs, I think the Heat could contend for a top spot in the East next year. Hell, if healthy they could have been in the Eastern Conference Finals this year... What y'all think?
