We need to draft a shooter. Center position is finally filled well. Bosh can go back to playing his position. we've always had too many pgs. We need either a SG or SF that can really shoot. That is, if we're looking to keep him. if we're getting him as trade bait just get as high a draftee as you can.

We really don't need much. No secret that we would have made some noise this postseason if healthy

I want to see the whole team back minus Walker

I agree we need to add a shooter

Due to his recent history... I doubt Riley is confident in drafting some rook... I'd lke to see it though

Hassan should go work out with Olajuwon this summer 8o

If poss....

:lol aka shooters. right now, if im spoelstra, we're already finishing our first heavy practice today. our players are already at or around 300 made 3pt shooters and over 600 shots made on the day. We practiced ZERO plays by this point. all day was shooting drills

tomorrow would be 400 3pters made and over 700 shots on the day

by saturday and from then on, we're doing 500 3pters made PER DAY for a week, 2 week vacay, and start the process over. this is the LAST season of us having terrible shooting. By next season id have earned that coach of the year award. our team would skyrocket in fg% and shooting%. but spo aint bout that life...and because he isnt, our players aren't either.

Just came in here to post this. He may not be available when we draft, but worth looking at.

I think he can come in and fill a role next season.

I standby my Shabazz endorsements, even had some ROY implications before being sent to the dleague and having his minutes cut :{

Next year, him and Hassan could have breakout years

Its a smart business move by Dragic. I think he stays, but it puts pressure on the Heat organization to make sure they do what they need to do to put a winning team together.

Do y'all think Riley will eventually trade the pick?

Yea he was always going to opt out,

And history says Riles will probably trade the pick but idk, some nice wing players in this draft

I wouldn't give dragic the max. That's just my opinion though.

Agreed, his production can be had for lesser.

He is a very talented point guard but he doesn't have very good court vision, and is kinda weak on defense. He is more suitably an SG but still not worth max imo. In an offense more like the one he is use to, he might dominate a little more... considering that's how the offense pans out next year

I doubt Heat's gonna give up on him, but if production=money...

We could get a more versatile pg for less

I hope he stays tho

Spo said some interesting things in his exit interview.
  • Playing faster
  • Focusing more on Hasaan Whiteside offensively at the end of the clock
  • Focusing on the draft more than he ever has
  • The growth of Johnson, Ennis, and Shabazz

Resiliency seemed to be a theme in his presser. The staff are already talking about Goron being a key part of the team's success moving forward. It is almost like this Erik and the staff are a bit relieved to get some time to decompress and rethink this off season.

As a fan I feel relief becasue they were not going to win a playoff series and I'd rather get this team rested with an opportunity for a top 10 pick. Only downside is the younger players don't get playoff experience.

Deng is likely to opt out for more too,

Contracts will be manageable when the cap increases.

Both Deng and Dragic want to stay, and Heat want them in their future plans... I'm sure they will get it done.
