.

Also,I'd feel better trading for someone like Lawson then breaking the bank for Goran tbh
Justice league begins.

I get that ya'll wanted Stanley ( myself included ) but Winslow is the STEAL of this draft ( shouId have gone 4th to the Knicks ). I didn't think it was even possible until yesterday

The Heat didn't even BOTHER to bring Justise in because they tought no way in hell he would be there at 10

You guys are tripping, Stanley Johnson is not as good as Justise Winslow. This is the best thing that could have happened to us. Winslow is a top-5 talent and we got him at 10 :pimp:

That worked out so well, can't believe he dropped down to us! I love the fit but I hardly thought about because I was sure he'd be gone by 10. Couldn't have gone better tonight. Plus, with the Lakers getting Russell they probably take their eye off Wade since they have even less room in that backcourt now.

Winslow is definitly a good pick for us. Excited to see what he brings to the table.

Now we must resign Beas and try our hardest to resign Wade!! Those two "to me" are top priority.

Even if we have to trade away Birdman and Chalmers I'm all with it to get Wade back. Also whoever said Ty Lawson could be a cheaper pickup then Dragic, I like that sceniro as well. Hey, maybe we can get Monta Ellis instead of Goran Dragic. Ellis is a more impact player and could equate to more wins.

Ellis OR Lawson (one of the two), Shabazz
Wade, Johnson
Deng, Winslow, Ennis
Bosh, McBob, Beas, Haslem
Whiteside, Erik Dampier

^^ dream sceniro for the offseason :smokin

Got home 2 hours after the draft started and watched the Heat's 2 picks and I am so happy. I didn't even think Justise Winslow would be available at 10 so I put all my hope on Stanley Johson.... but what a surprise.

Coach K himself compares Winslow's game to Dwyane Wade. He does it all and still has a lot of upside. Definitely has the talent to be an all-star one day. He's a hard worker, can get to the basket, plays great defense, and is an all around player. Has the potential to be a consistent play maker as well.

I like the Heat's 2nd round pick too. Riley and company sure do love athletic wings who can play defense. Josh Richardson should fit right in. Hopefully he can make the 15 man roster.

Hopefully we can retain Wade. I like Dragic, but there other options other there, Ellis would be a nice addition, definitely lifting us with scoring

The C's offered the Hornets 6 picks to move up and draft Justise........

WE GOT HIM..................DISCOUNTED!!!

Rumored to be in Miami's summer league; Travis Trice

Looks like a Steph wanna-be(maybe not his fault that he's undersized). I like him, if he could be the player that I think he can-- he could probably take over my 'Bazz fanboyness

Watching this draft and seeing the caliber of players the Miami Heat got vs other teams, its very clear to see why so many teams are constantly in the draft lottery. Heat fans should feel very grateful to have a competent front office. The name of the game is versatility and that's exactly what the Heat have. Our roster is full of guys who can do multiple things and that is why we have success more often than failure.

I think it's safe to say that not making the playoffs last year was a huge blessing in disguise. The Heat had Josh Richardson on their board as a 1st rounder.... a 1st ROUNDER???!!! So its obviously something special about him for them to think that highly of his game.

And now I'm hearing the Celtics were offering 6 draft picks to trade up and get Winslow. Wow... talk about value at the #10 position. Coach K calls him Wade and Winslow himself says he patterns his game after Kawhi Leonard. I'm actually excited for Summer League.

The icing on the cake was Pat saying they'll do everything in their power to keep Wade and the team intact. :smokin

We had a good day Heat fans!!

Quincy McCall Quincy McCall Travis Trice is confirmed to be coming to the Heat's Summer League. You can tell his size scared away teams, but he looks like he has some talent. He can light it up and kinda reminds me a little of Chris Jackson a.k.a. Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf.

Shortly after his longtime friend and four-year Michigan State teammate joined him as an NBA employee, Branden Dawson sent out a tweet that included: "#nevercountusOUT."

Travis Trice has been throwing lobs to Dawson since they were teenagers on the same AAU team, but on July 8 in Orlando they'll be NBA summer league combatants – Dawson playing for the L.A. Clippers and Trice for the Miami Heat.

Trice finalized a deal today to play with the Heat in the Orlando league from July 4-10, and in the Las Vegas league from July 10-20. The 6-foot Trice, coming off a magical senior season and Final Four run at MSU, didn't join Dawson in the draft – New Orleans took Dawson in the second round and traded him to the Clippers – but the summer league is Trice's ticket to a preseason training camp.

Dawson excited to face Draymond Green

From there, the dream is to make a roster. If not, opportunities overseas or in the NBA Development League should be there for Trice, who led MSU in scoring (15.3) and assists (5.1) last season while winning team MVP and NCAA East Regional Most Outstanding Player honors.

Trice's father, Travis Sr., said Miami was among the most persistent teams in calling after the draft -- and also one of the few teams that will take part in both of those summer leagues.

"We're trying to get maximum exposure for Travis, and this should be a good thing for him," Travis Sr. said, after what he described as a worry-free night of watching the draft and waiting for the right call.

As Trice said before the draft: "I'm not stressing through this whole process. Everything is a plus as far as I'm concerned – I'm not even supposed to be here."
