OFFICIAL 2016 @HEAT PLAYOFF THREAD

Yes to McBob and Rio but I feel Birdman can still contribute so I'd like him to stay.

Goran back :pimp:. Hope they can get Wade locked up before making any big moves in the trade market.

Don't like the thought of Birdman gone, but I understand it. They shouldn't even think of moving McBob unless it is deemed absolutely necessary

@si_nba: Dwyane Wade persuing max contract with Heat

:nerd:

I'm thinking something around the 3 yr/45-48m range should be enough to get it done, hopefully.

Never waver in faith ..... lol. Mightve been unsettling but we stayed faithful to whistle Heat family. We know things will work out

Riley more than likely will have to dump those contracts of RIO and Birdman .... smh RIO was a mainstay but it is what it is

Chalmers lost me after his poor performance last season. The Heat gave him another chance after stinking it up in the playoffs and he didn't step up. If he does get traded, I hope it lights a fire under his butt to get him to play better basketball because I actually like Chalmers.

If I had a choice between Birdman and McRoberts, I'd probable take McRoberts just because of his versatility and ability to stretch the floor. Also age plays a huge factor. Only thing that scares me about McRoberts is his injury history.

Well said my Achillesless nephew!

Agreed on McBob. Love what he can bring to the table with skill set but being injury-prone :smh:

Yeah. Rio is definitely expendable.

Dragon. Wade. Deng. Bosh. Whiteside.

Napier (hope he improves). Winslow. Ennis. Tyler.

Not bad.

Quite fearful as to what this Wade contract will entail.

Bird and Chalmers are both overpaid. IDK how easy to move they are.

Yeah dog some of these contracts are really driving up the market value for Wade. He's got all the leverage now :smh:

Okay, so I'm a little worried there hasn't been any updates on Wade since this morning. I've been monitoring my Heat Twitter like a hawk waiting for something...The wait is killing me :\

these last 2 pages. some of you need  SWIFT kick in the ***, talking bout drop wade for monta and we dont need him anymore. some of yall sound like fans who came when lebron did and decided to stay with the team after he left. wade is the heart of the team. like haslem. PERIOD. he has intangible values. it goes beyond missed games. hes the veteran leader. hes the clutch scorer. hes the one who's sacrificed so much. PAY HIM. PERIOD. yall talking about going after free agents in the coming years. AND?! So we supposed to stop pushing now.....to hopefully pick up a good rookie or free agent in a couple years? Does that sound like a smart risk to you? And exactly what SG should replace wade? who are these big FA yall talking bout? durant? if we lose wade, we cant even replace him. dude is INVALUABLE. yall sleep. and it disgusts me as a heat fan.

pay the man who gave us our first ring with the team on his back. pay that star player who has NEVER been the highest paid player on his own team, despite bein the star for 12 years. pay the man who took not 1, but TWO paycuts to keep the team together. pay the man who even brought together the big 3 era for the heat. foh here talking bout he doesnt deserve money cuz we wont go after huge FA's ina  few years. i wish i could ban yall from this thread.

i can take hearing this from idiot cavs fans or espn groupies...but that kinda talk shouldnt be in here.

Wade believed to be mulling at least 2 Heat proposals tonight. One at/near max, allows for 2016 free agency. 2nd for multiple yrs/lower avg.

Getting that much closer...

Hoping for the latter option so we won't need to go through this once again next summer

No one man is bigger than the organization. No one held a gun to Wade''s head when he decided to take those pay cuts. If he wasn't so blinded by his friendship to LeBron he wouldn't have been in this situation. He left money on the table because LeBron didn't wan to take anything less so UD could get a contract. He took another risk and opted because he thought LeBron was going to re-sign. None of this is the Heat organization's fault. He's misdirecting his anger and frustration. Also if Wade was going to suit up for 72+ games a year, this wouldn't be an issue but we all know he's going to average around 62 games for next some odd years. That is a waste of money no matter what he has done for the franchise in the past. Every time big money was presented to Dwyane he turned it down, so why would Riley and company think this time would be any different. You can't present yourself as for the time all these years and then finally change your tune when you're closer to the end of your career than you are the beginning.

while ALL of this is true. a man took TWO for the team. literally. having the attitude of "well that was then and this is now" knowing what theyve done for you, is bad. pat riley is about loyalty and family. our organization prides itself on that. and yall suggesting we should turn our backs on our LEADER because well, though we acknowledge the sacrifice on your body that u took carrying the load all those years, and the financial sacrifice... you no longer are at 100%. sorry. so this means you sacrificed and sacrificed for us... but we're not returning the favor. ever. thank you for your service?

Lets just remain calm and composed Heat family ...the energy is pretty high lol but let's just stay cool and collected.

He sacrificed some for the team, but he's part of the team. He would still have one ring had he not. Tired of hearing he wasn't the "top paid player on the team", boo hoo, still was extremely well compensated.
