Hillary's "ordinary people" campaign stop was staged SMH

we are at a point in time where it wont make a difference on who is in office.

but ill de damned if we put a republican in there, we would be at war with EVERYONE, im sure they would also reinstate the draft.

Sounds like it would make a difference then brah

I also hate politics. It's crazy how most of our representatives do not represent us at all.

I HATE POLITICS WITH A PASSION.

Voting is essentially the lesser of two evils to me. However, when I hear Republicans stance on issues it makes me cringe that there are people that backwards in power.

I always think of this standup when I think of Hillary running. I know she went to Yale Law and she has good qualifications and all of that but....

This is true.

In the end it doesn't matter.

The end game is always the same.

No matter who pays for your presidency, once you're in you're just catering to corporate America and lobby groups with an eye towards your second term.

First term is just building those relationships.

That's why no matter who is in office the same agenda is going to be pushed.

Republicans in power generally want black and brown people dead, in jail, or completely disenfranchised.

Voting may be about the lesser of two evils but the republican party is clearly the greater evil.

The things I've seen and heard since 2008 have really been eye opening and incredibly saddening at the same time.

I could never respect a republican much less vote for one, on principle alone. Just like I could never respect someone who flies the confederate flag or stands for a hate group.

I don't know how people can feel passionate or strongly about one system of government. There are flaws in all of them, how do you even choose one or the other and be that confident in your choice?

You go too far left, you have centralized power in government which is inefficient, untrustworthy, one size fits all, etc. You go in the middle like we are, you end up having billionaires become the government officials by proxy with campaign funding and bribes. You go too far right into a total free market and you end up with one company getting too big without having any regulations to check them, human rights issues, etc.

How did you guys choose between these options? Genuinely want to know so maybe I can have an ideology to claim when I'm asked. I'm just sitting here like damn, all these choices suck so much. How do I get an accurate barometer of how much exactly each one sucks?

Burr is great. You see how uncomfortable that crowd was?

No bueno when you're talking to Hollywood liberals.

Ted Cruz is the son of Communist and definitely not born on America soil.

After all the slander people threw at Obama for the possibility of being these things tells me all I need to know about the current state of the Republican party and the people who vote for it.

Need an example-see OP.

A free market conservative. I like Walker, Rubio (other than his immigration views), Cruz, and Ben Carson so far.

Ben ******* Carson!? Seriously??

Dude is a complete nutjob in every sense of the term. He said ObamaCare was the worst thing since slavery and that prison proves being gay is a choice.

No Ben Carson is a complete assclown. He shouldnt be president of a homeowners association let alone a damn country.

And why is anybody even discussing Ted Cruz if he wasnt born in the US? Is there some type of special exemption i dont know about?

Man I could really delve deep into this, but just look back through history at what philosophy actually works. Big government/socialism/high taxes and spending/welfare states just do not work. Free market/low taxes/reasonable regulations/letting people keep more of their own money/conservative fiscal policy is what works. It's what allowed this country to become the wealthiest, most powerful country in history.

He's one of the top neurosurgeons in the country, I wouldn't call him a nut job. Obamacare is a disaster. I'd rather have someone who can get us back to a roaring economy even if I disagree with him on gay marriage.

Realistically, what regime helps us average folks who work hard to earn every dollar, are (relatively) upstanding people, and want to make $?

Being a great surgeon says nothing about his political abilities or views. You actually have to be a little nutty to want to be a surgeon, let alone a neurosurgeon

Conservatives. In short, they will tax you less and let you keep more of your own money. They will put less taxes and regulations on business which will then be able to invest more and create more jobs. This has been proven time and time again.

IMO the social issues are brought up way too much by the left as a distraction. Conservative policies will create a much better economic environment.

Biggest lies ever told to the American public.

Corporate profits are higher now than they ever have been at any time in the history of America and companies still aren't creating middle class jobs.

The Right has duped middle class people into fighting for the wealth of the rich.

As a minority, social issues are very important...conservative whites might not think so because it doesn't affect them as much. Calling it a distraction is undermining the importance of the issues. That's what white people are constantly doing

The reason corporations aren't creating more jobs isn't because of Conservatives. It's because of unnecessary and hurtful government intervention by Democrat legislation. Companies aren't sure what's coming down the road in terms of tax policy. America already has the 3rd highest corporate taxe rate in the world. If Obama/Hillary have their way, they will be raising corporate taxes in the next few years. Why would a company invest and create more jobs in that environment? Also Obamacare has been a big job killer and has cost corporations billions of dollars. I've seen it first hand in the company I work for. We are cutting people's hours and hiring more temporary workers as a result of Obamacare.
