TMZ says they talked to a lot of McHenry’s fellow ESPN employees, who anonymously threw enough shade at her for a small family to picnic under. They called her “the worst” and “replaceable,” and the chorus gave the impression that plenty of McHenry’s coworkers were waiting for an excuse to throw her under the bus.

Interestingly, McHenry has seen more support from Advanced Towing, the company whose employee (named Gina) she berated. They released a statement, which reads, in part:

Parking enforcement is contentious by nature. At the same time, neither Gina, our lot clerk, nor our company, have any interest in seeing Britt McHenry suspended or terminated as a result of her comments.

Ms. McHenry is our neighbor, and, as she said, to paraphrase, made remarks that were out of line. She is human and errors in judgement can be made in the heat of the moment.

It’s the professional response that one should expect from a company that probably deals with way worse on a day to day basis, but it’s still encouraging to see that not everyone is as quick to pile on Britt McHenry as her coworkers. Again, she played her own part in this madness, but some perspective is refreshing.

ive been watching her and she just keeps improving.

Whoever picks her up will def be much improved.
And they will try and pick her up...maybe not a first pick but early first round
She seems to have a good understanding of the game ...more than the xs and os.
I think she can bring alot to the table if she just stays focused and hangs around with the right group of people.
