Based on this thread I think her story is just as remarkable as the vets. I'd be happy with either being on the cover.

Are you kidding me?  Whether or not you agree with the Iraq war the Vet went there to protect this transexuals freedom and you're saying she's just as courageous as him?  Give me a break.  I don't think you honestly believe that and if you do that is pretty disrespectful of vet's.

Changing your gender, for the rest of your remaining life is no easy task.

They are definitely hard situations on both sides. But utimately its comparing apples to oranges. As far as body goes, they both had seemingly amazing transformations and struggles with equally amazing results.
Does the transgender gentleman deserve #1? Debatable. Does he deserve to be in the contest? Hell yea.

But yea, i'd side with the vet more tho.

And maybe i'm being a jerk here, but I don't think so. He looks like a typical Williamsburg hipster weakling. He looks like a man though, and i'm all about the journey of self discovery so congrats, but nah. I haven't read the full criteria though.
