I want to do everything so I do nothing.

you want to do something, but you overthink it, which tends to cancel out any action towards actually doing what you wanted, right?

After the New Years, I began doing things right when I think about it and set goals for the important things(cleaning, working out, errands) and use leisurely activities(NT, TV, browsing) as a prize for myself. It's not completely consistent yet but, it's been working out. Just need to improve my sleep schedule.

How do you plan on getting anywhere you want to go when you're not willing to put in even half the work?

To manifest your thoughts into reality requires work... To provide work, you must supply energy.

No energy means no work, no work means no progress. Life is about moving forward b. Plenty of examples can be made out of people in today's world lacking the ambition and drive needed to elevate their status in life.

You can win this game like anyone else fam, we all got it in us. Some easier than others, but the potential is still there and you'll never know until you try.

Whenever I need to get ANYTHING done, no matter how small or large it is, I go to the library. Home has way too many distractions and social elements.

I can put in 20% efficiency at the crib, 200% at the library. Don't sleep.

I was thinking of doing a "summer challenge" for myself where I dedicate one hour to getting stronger, one hour to getting smarter, one hour to furthering my career skills, and one hour towards a hobby.

So for example I would workout, read, learn a marketable skill like making websites, and practice guitar or photography. 24 hours in a day, I imagine it can't be that hard to discipline myself for 4 of them. In before I give up on the second day.

Also going to do all of this once I'm done exams. I'm going to pickup Dune as my first read in years, pickup a camera to start shooting, and get back into lifting.
OP i feel the same way. I'll look at the most inspiring stuff on the internet while I'm on my bed and do nothing productive after. Serious hard work towards set goals need to get done in order for it to happen. Always look at the bigger picture.

Everything is a matter of just starting. And enjoy the process and journey, sometimes its better than the destination or goal.

In a sense that's somewhat true. Say I wake up at 10am, I'll linger in bed, go online for a bit, etc. Next thing I know, it's noon. Then eat, contemplate what I want to do with the day, if I want to see people or not. Bam, it's 2 or 3pm already. Then it feels like it's too late to do anything. If I go out now, there's nothing but traffic, etc. Just excuses to stop me I suppose. Shame on me. If I do go out or want to start something, not sure how productive I can be. Sun going down, don't know what I can finish, etc. It's bad

What I came in here to say

What i do is lock myself in my room, alone, and show restraint to random internet browsing.

OP I know exactly how you feel. Something that I learned in college that I use to this day to help with productivity this is called the The Pomodoro Technique.  I used to over think goals and projects and just generally procrastinate like crazy and honestly this is the only thing that ever really worked for me.

It's nothing complex and likely you've heard it all before, it revolves around discipline and time management but what makes it different and what I think helped me is it focuses on forcing yourself to manage very small increments of time effectively, followed by a much smaller break, instead of "working" on something for hours and hours and not getting much done.

That method looks legit for building up self-discipline and time management skills.

Good looks fam

I like this, gonna start the same thing soon

The popular saying goes: it's never too late to start something.

You might as well try whatever it is you like, while you can, with the body you have now because everyone dies at some point and then it's game over. You can't read, travel, sing, paint, or skateboard when you're in a grave.

The afterlife isn't guaranteed either, so assume that whatever you experience now is all your consciousness will ever know. Why not follow what your mind is interested in knowing more about and start somewhere?

If you're young and fat, start exercising. Being able to move around on healthy legs is something you should not take for granted. Once you hit 30-40 your body will start to fall apart and you will not be able to enjoy many outdoor activities. I was fat last spring and then I started going to the gym a lot. Now I can squat 335 and I'm about to start playing soccer all the time when school gets out. I've learned that being healthy and active at the very least is much better than doing nothing and staring at the computer.

There's only so much the internet can do for you, which is a hard fact I learned. NT is great and all but you have to motivate yourself. No one is going to truly know what you want to do unless you yourself make it happen.

Also stop comparing your quality of life to other people's lives. The scorecards will never match up. They don't always have it that good and they don't know just how good you have it either.
