I know this isn't going to happen but reminiscing about the old days I'd love it. With the 30, just have your 5 basic release pairs. The usually Bulls colors with an all star release that's a different color. Then maybe a couple lows after that. They made WAYYYYY too many 28s and 29s to the point where most of the colorways and designs were garbage. Just a thought that won't happen.

that would be a shame considering xx9 is probably the performance basketball shoes of all time

It's a comfortable shoe no doubt. If I'm wearing that or a CP3 which is what I play in, I'm not going to perform better. I'll be just as good in either shoe. so all that doesn't matter to me. Just give me a nice looking comfortable shoe. I was just thinking back to the days where u didn't have to worry about horribel colorways dropping.

true although i think they upper of the xx9 is the main feature of the shoes, half of their CW is booboo

Guys they're called the 30's not the 2015's...JB switched back to the numbering system vs. the year system for a reason...now they're not obligated to have an annual shoe

I got tired of all the talk here and got Jordan and Phil together to get the scoop. Phil was picking his nose and kept telling me how he made the first Nike using a waffle iron (that story never gets old). He said always addres him as 'Uncle Phil' otherwise I'm out of the will. MJ rolled his eyes and one upped him on how he was cut from his freshman basketball team. This thing went on for hours. I asked what's up with the 30s.....Phil said 'what's his name in marketing' was worried about porn references, MJ said he likes his tall and blonde, but then talked about scrapping the design since he wants to make a come back and school these kids in the NBA since they're trash. MJ called Tinker in and told him to stop working on the Air Mag for Michael J. Fox and get back on the XXX, and where's his blonde.
It was hard to keep these guys focused so brought the discussion back to the 30s because some guys here on Niketalk say they have inside info. They all chuckled, it took awhile for Tinker to calm down but maybe it was the toga he still had on, said it was comfortable after making the video, and why not. MJ said,'Tell your boys on NT to get off the sack and keep buying the garbage we're pumping out. The last 5 general releases have been sitting, it's pissing off the GOAT, and frankly it's messing my pocket up a bit. I'm trying to sign Kevin Durant next offseason because my drafting isn't going well, but that's my GMs fault for not convincing me I don't know how to draft...in private of course'.
MJ thanked me and then gave me a an exclusive pair of 31s, but said don't tell or show these to anyone....but you can tell them they run true to size (tts), they're going to retail for $299.99, to thank him for not raising the price to over $300 because he cares about the kids, they're going to have better autolacing and he's still pissed at Tinker for promising MJ Fox this sh*t 30 years ago without his approval, and that they're going to be in the factory stores (don't call them outlets anymore) for under $150 a month later.....but don't worry he still gets his. Uncle Phil was asleep so Tinker, MJ had a good laugh.
So that's the scoop......and for full disclosure.....all this is made up

Recently, I finally played basketball in the xx9. They are indeed great. I'm 5'9 and around 170 pounds and i did not have any issues with the heel cushioning.
I personally like them more than the xx8 because they feel like having more stability overall.

The whole xxx/porn reference sounds like a load of crap to me. they did xx8/xx9 which isn't even real roman numerals. would it really be that difficult just to advertise it as the Air Jordan 30? it's not like they would be breaking a 30 year tradition. this has nothing to do with the delay and if they claim it does, they're just covering up the real reason. lol I could see nike trying to roll with that though... "due to the inappropriate nature of our traditional numbering system, it took us 5 extra months to decide how to use regular numbers."

IMO, after that little tease for the end of the yr releases, then today's tease of the first quarter of 2016 releases. It seems to me all this is leading up to the unveiling of the 30s.... Oh and they got the DBs big revel outta the way also. So it seems the 30 will be icing on JBs billion dollar cake

The number 1 rule in marketing is SEX SELLS. I'll be expecting nipple weave patterns with a tan base, inapropriate pink sock liners, and milky off white soles. And power laces.

Im sure you will see typical gorilla fashion marketing (superfly mars blake griffin marketing would be the most recent example), the 30 story will come and go faster than you/we realize.... 31 will be a HUGE deal.
