AJ XXX (30)

Usually I would argue that this is the XXX thread not the XX3 thread, but I love the XX3 so much I'm cool with it. One of the best designs in footwear ever IMO
 
I like the shoe for the low price of clearance. If I played Ball still, I'd probably still only wear the latest MJ's but for casually and to the gym, sure, as soon as they hit the outlet in a color I'm cool with, I'm down.
 
Nice to finally see the xx3 getting the love it deserves.

I will grab a couple pairs of xxx's at that $129.99 outlet price.

he wore them on debut day like said. plus they didn't give him PEs yet. the players still need to wear certain color on the road games.

Unfortunately, the same could be said about everything that doesn't cost a company a ton of money to invest in design and functionality. Big business wants to know how many are willing to sacrifice one or the other.

Tinker needs to retire and have new talent every year a new up and coming shoe designer should do the next sig shoe or have some of the new nike shoe designers have a try

this type of thinking needs to stop. when he stopped after the 15 you all want him to come back and now he is back again and taking charge you want him gone. LMAO...make up your minds.... 
 
All the non-Tinker Jordan's have sucked since the 16's (yes he did design those, read "Driven From Within"). The 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 2009 all sucked or were mediocre.
 
Not saying he doesn't have it anymore.... He's just getting older.... It's still there.... He's tooo good with a pen and is ART...
 
I like the 1st cw of 18s.

And the 19 has grown on me over time.
Just the black red ones tho.

1) Most ppl nowadays like the 21s, especially for the red colorway. I've never felt the 21s and I still don't really like them and the red suede doesn't make them heat to me.
2) The design of 22s was very appealing to me from day 1 and it still is till this day. I felt like that was one of the best looking bball shoe and I still think that way. Just love the black suede version although it got mad hot inside those babies.
3) Black 23s were dope to me as well I bought the whole environment friendly manufacturing ish they were selling back then and I thought it must have been a very advanced shoe but aside from that I enjoyed its aesthetics. That's why I still have them DS in box (the transparent plastic part starts to mate real bad though)

What I'm trying to say that it's kinda ignorant to say that everything 'new' coming from JB (after 14s)  is wack. The 18s were fire to me as well! Nevertheless I can't seem to shake the feeling that lately the designers are not pushing the envelope as the way they were a few years back. When the 'new' model was actually new and not an slightly updated version of the previous model...

I agree with you. To me it seems like some people makes it very easy to categorize jordans by saying they only like 1 - 14 or 1 - 23.
I cannot say that all models between 1 to 23 were always great and from 24 to 30 i think some of them I really like and i wear them even more frequent than models 1 - 23.
