One of the best basketball shoes created. I love these things and I dig the futuristic look.
They certainly didn't hurt D. Wade's year or his MVP performance in the all-star game.

i think also the Growth of Broadband internet and Ebay made it really to resell shoes for higher prices

Personally I don't care how many people are wearing jordans; if I like a model and can get it, I'll buy it and wear it. I like they way certain models look, and appreciate seeing them on other people just for the chance to see a great looking shoe from a diff angle. The positive aspect of the hype is that without the dramatic popularity JB may not have continued with the retro concept if they sat on shelves and ended up deeply discounted at outlets like the first releases. With the recent price hikes and larger production runs, it's getting a bit easier to cop. At these prices though, I'm only getting what I absolutely love; anything borderline is a "no". While I can afford it, it's just getting ridiculous to spend so much money on shoes. I have enough to satisfy my desire for cool shoes to wear....

I feel you. The best non numbered sigs were the 2010 and 2009. but they both had 1 major flaw imo that seriously damaged the design. for the 2010 they are still ok but would be 100x better without the window. as for the 2009 that heel got to go. The worst by far is the 2012. I absolutely hate that flywire or whatever it's called nike puts allover shoes. it just looks like a bunch of random lines/cuts with zero aesthetic appeal.One of the best basketball shoes created. I really liked the 2011's, XX8's and XX9's. Did not like the '09, '10 or '12 at all.
I actually like the direction the high performance models are going. Can't wait to see these bad boys.

Do you think the xxx will be another guard shoe with the focus on courtfeel like the 28 and 29?
I personally think it will happen and they would be perfect shoe for players like Westbrook, drose, kyrie, curry and not so for bigger and heavier guys like lebron, durant.
Air jordans 17, 19 - 22 and 2012 were quite suitable for frontcourt players
With their softer heel cushioning and increased ankle support.

i wonder what material will the 30 be made of. we went pretty drastically from recycled material of the 23, the rich leather and nylon of 2009, back to leather on the 2010 & 2011, to full Fly-wire with decent leather on 2012, to zipper and cloth on xx8, and weave on xx9. the last three was more focused on performance as ever.

How light the XxXs can be? Thats what I m most interested to know of. See how far that envelop can go for. Xx9 already light n less padding from previous js.

18 has the double decker zoom n carbon fibers. They are comfy for sure. I rekon 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 18 n 20 Honestly.

yep 18s really felt like an all around luxurious shoe. the cdp is one of the best retro+ colorways JB has done in awhile. They didn't have cf insole though which was disappointing and leads me to believe they probably didn't have the same zoom but I still rock mine. Kicking myself for not buying extra pairs back when everyone was splitting their packs
