they comfy, I wouldn't recommend for ball tho, so many better shoes with much better tech and value for actually playing ball.

They're the type of comfortable for lifestyle or casual use.
Having said that, I ball in one of my pairs. They do have the cushioning that can take the abuse of jumping and landing, even for my old knees. Grip is not as bad as I thought it would be, considering they don't have a herringbone or similar pattern. The gym I play at isn't too dusty either. In terms of that lockdown feel that modern shoes have now, these do not have it at all. There's a bit of forefoot slide during lateral movement. I thought not having a shank plate will bother my feet due to lack of torsional rigidity, but that has not been a factor.
Despite their outdated performance, I love the way they look on-court over anything offered today. I love the way AJ 1s look on the court, and these allow me to get as close to that as possible with actual cushioning.

^^^Repped. Don't see a lot of people rocking Chi 1s on-court (or at all), and that's why I love these 1.5s. They're actually shoes you can/will wear, rather than collect/worship.

Is that legit or a PS. 1.5 Def looks better in that colorway. The Chi's sold out online the first day but are still available for retail or less. There's just not a big demand...

That Black/Red pair might be a sample for the upcoming release. It looks like the swoosh is nubuck but the quality of the picture is so bad that I can't call it.
The shape of the shoe is absolutely the reason that I don't like them. If they were shaped like the original pair Jordan had, I would've been all over these. I randomly felt like revisiting this thread to see if my opinion of the shoe changed, and save for maybe two pictures; the bulbous toe area reminded me of why I wasn't feeling them before.
Hell, your comparison video was the worst offender

LOL! I think having them on foot personally should change one's perception. They are comfortable nonetheless but if someone can't get past shape, can't fault them.

I don't hate the gums, I just don't $150 like them. Maybe for $100, but I'd rather spend my $$$ on the Breds & Royals.
