You have to understand at that time there was no "og" remastered talk and also before that, the last retro we had was the patent mids in 03. For most of us, we were thinking it was going to be another 5+ years until the next retro and not 2 years.

Not a lot better. It's pretty much the same, mid quality. Not OG remastered quality or OG 2013/24 quality.

Didn't they come out in the middle of the N/A 2013 run tho?

I definitely wouldn't consider them to be anywhere close to remastered quality but I genuinely think they feel just as good as some of the OG highs from 2013.. at least the black toes :lol:
 



I definitely wouldn't go THAT far seeing as how the black and whites are the best quality OGs of the pre-remastered run. They are nicer than they get credit for though...

Ok I couldn't remember the timeline. I was done buying sneakers and almost missed out on the Royals. All I remember thinking when I saw the Chi's is that if wait it out, especially after hearing about the quality.
 
They taxing cause it's a few weeks early lol lame...nobody copping for that he'll prolly barely be able to sell at retail
 
The breds look horrible imo. Worst out of the 3 cw's. The thick white midsole in addition to the shape completely throws it off.
 
i'm definitely down for the blk/red 1.5.

none of that "hard to buy" nonesense like the 1 and still look as good with better comfort. just need a release date.
