I was thinking the same. Even Villa tried to darken the light to hide the midsole a bit. Still a dope shoe w/o a lot of hype nonetheless.

The Solar blue's and Bred 1.5's come with extra laces in the sandwich sized bags with a red liner known to be used with fakes, but the Chicago 1.5's didn't come with extra laces, or was my Chi pair the only one without extra laces?

The black/red looks a lot cleaner than the other colorways. these still look like Ronald McDonalds clown boots though.
