Suede Manipulation Question

Long story short, I've struck out on every AM1 Navy release since 2012.

I am close to either buying a pair on ebay, but don't want to pay resale price.

I went and decided to iD a pair and they're great except wolf grey is too dark for what I want.

Would it be possible to get the suede to a light grey like the original using sand paper or another method?

How does lightening or darkening suede work?

Does the fact that it is a synthetic suede change anything?

Suede is usually a real pain to work with. However, our Light Grey Suede Dye will work great to lighten the wolf grey you have here.
