AGAIN? - Baltimore Man Dies From Injuries During Arrest

The only thing funnier than those pre-fight poll results were the punching stats afterwards.

Not surprising. They put up the poll results of who people thought was going to win prior to the start of the fight.

Floyd 33%

Pacquiao 67%

That told me all I needed to know.
Yeah, me and everyone else at the fight party were like whaaaat when those numbers came up on the screen

white america, latinos, phillipinos, and even blacks really want to see Floyd lose, crash and burn, and then some. It's sickening.

If you want to see Floyd lose because of domestic violence, cool.. Do you

When I see black people say they don't like Floyd because"he flaunts his money too much"

I  and walk away

Straight crabs

I trolled tf outta fb lames showing their true colors last night and will do more today. I used to be indifferent when it came to Floyd years ago, but the racists made me wanna chose a side and the choice was easy.

Floyd got his economics in order so no one can con money outta him and folks hate it

Exactly why I wish blacks as a whole did the same.

Y'all really serious right now?
I was rooting for Mayweather too but let's not act like everyone rooting against him is some sort of racist or Uncle Tom.

The homie isn't exactly likeable. It's not that he has money, it's that he throws it at the camera during interviews. It's not cause he's opinionated, it's cause he's made racist, and homophobic comments during interviews. It's his issues with domestic abuse.

He embraced being a villain. Historically people tend to root against the villain.

I'm fairly confident that if Floyd Mayweather was white...he would be hailed as a ******* American hero.

Especially considering the sport...

I'm 100% confident, you're wrong.

Diego's post is spot on...gets hit with, "Sure."

I love watching PBF fight. He's amazing to watch. Been a fan for a long time. I also recognize he's a POS.

Rappers flaunt their wealth and show mysoginy ALL the time.

They literally talk about it in every song how they have more money than me and will **** my girl...

I have yet to hear a black person say "I don't like Floyd because he said messed up stuff about Mexican people.." Or because "he got *******"

Its mostly because them greenbacks and controlling his own destiny...

Same thing with Lebron. You should be happy and young black dude is making power moves... But instead of getting mad at ****** owners and terrible GMs...

You get mad at the dude doing what anyone else in this country would do: achieve and control your life.

I stated earlier that if you don't like the DV stuff, do you... But you hate him, and adorn rappers? Makes no cents

Take control of your own destiny and you become the villain.

Everyone loves Mike Tyson now that he's no longer on top of the world, but in his prime he had a worse rap sheet than Floyd and was persecuted for it.

America ain't fooling nobody with their "he's a woman beater omgz we want him to lose" act. Nah he's the best, he's unashamed of announcing that he's the best, he's filthy rich & he's Black. The perfect combo to rustle these ***** jimmies.

Don't want to further derail the thread, but I agree with @Diego, Floyd goes out of his way to make sure the timid type doesn't like him- of which he has all right to do.

My only gripe is how people try to rationalize their hate for him with racist 'jokes', just so they won't have to give him credit for being a great professional and even better business man and without much 'formal' education

He isn't arrogant, he's just confident and takes pride in how hard he's worked to get where he is at, Nobody got on Pac for his confidence in himself- just Floyd because he's "arrogant"

Only people that were criticized were black people who didn't like him because he flaunted his money.

That **** is wack

Now yall took that dude post and warped it into something he wasn't saying.

I just didn't like how MM 'ran' the last 2 rounds.

And, yes, I like boxing and understand the sport, but a 6 year wait warranted more regardless of race.

At the end of the day people just don't like each other.

Filipinos are brought up to dislike other races...it's not till their 'americanized' or experience other races where they open themselves up to other races.  There's an aboriginal population in the Philippines that are forced to live in the mountains and are subjected to racism from their own people.

Mexican, Latinos, etc...whatever you want to call them suffer from the same identity. Gang culture in most South L.A. streets brainwash and add to their family dynamic taught rhetoric that 'Black' is bad.

Blacks, by the same gang culture in South L.A., are taught to not trust Mexicans/Latinos, and learn enough Spanish to disrespect them.

I grew up differently so I don't relate...maybe growing up in the 80-90s was a reason, but my circle is the United Colors of Bennetton

I tried to tell people that fight wasn't going to be the fight that they thought it was going to be, all this "fight of the century" hype was all for show.

Floyd is just too technical, I miss the prime Zab Judah/Gatti(RIP) Floyd but still his game is still nice to watch to me.

Just like Mayweather/De La Hoya, I told folks that it wasn't a fight casual fans was going to want to watch.

I enjoyed it.

I was in nandos today and the whole national Guard plus random others cops in the area is super lame.
The new one in harbor east? How was it. Walk by it like every day can't wait to try it.

In bmore news. The curfew is lifted even though it still messed up the weekend.

Heard bars could stay open til 5am and have lock ins. But would be fined heavily. So heavily that no one did it

Mayweather getting boos because he's black and successful?

He's the prototypical heel, an image he developed himself and admits to embrace

Folks in here trying wayyy too hard

I have a love/hate thing for Floyd.

I love that he gets these white people's panties in a bunch because of his personality, and it's always good to see a black man doing well for himself. But I can't stand the lack of humility from him, all that arrogance and over the top bravado is unnecessary. We know you're great, so just shut up and fight.

And it's quite obvious why people dislike him outside of him throwing his money around. His a woman beater, he loves for people to cater to his ego, and he's just an all around terrible human being. Example: posting his ex's sonogram on the Internet and telling people she aborted the baby.

Dude is just a piece of ****, honestly

I don't think people don't want to see floyd have money. If that's the case wouldn't people hate tiger Woods or even Michael jordan? Does Manny not have money? I don't see people going I dislike Manny because he has money

I swear American sports fanatics can be some of the most obsessed hate perverted people in the world.

You think Floyd doesn't see this through people?

Look at 50 Cents two faced ***...making fun of his reading but now wanna ride his rise to the top...typical groupie behavior

All this portrayal of him as some kind of materialistic money glorifying no morals villan is absurd.

But that's how he portrays himself tho. It isn't som image conjured up by people who hate him. He's constantly showing off money, cars, clothes, ect.
