AGAIN? - Baltimore Man Dies From Injuries During Arrest

Quite frankly, if those businesses aren't black owned it doesn't matter much to our community if they burn.
Quite frankly, it still wouldn't even matter

Hurting those business owners who have nothing to do with how police conduct themselves. Sounds about right

You know what, I'm so tired of this logic. Because for one, these people in the Baltimore community don't owe these business owners ****, so save that. I highly doubt they've given back to the community they're in or tried to give any of those people jobs so honestly, who cares?

And yea, I can understand how that way of thinking CAN be counterproductive, but what else has worked? I'll save you the trouble in giving an answer because there isn't one. This **** has gone on long enough and if this is what it takes to get some justice, then so be it.

So a lower class Hispanic/Latino/southeast Asian/etc small business owner in the same boat is just collateral damage or deserves to get taken down? :smh: come on you want to take on police/government/white supremacy don't alienate similar groups. Race warfare is one thing but class warfare is where the numbers and the power are. French Revolution.

Also catching up, war is organized, strategic, tactical, and with a purpose. This is just random chaos with no endgame.

What? Giving more reasons to get cops to get they body count up? it's the perfect excuse

Clearly you didn't get what I said, but whatever.

People are angry. Fed Up. If it takes people to act rowdy to highlight the situation, so be it. People looting don't matter. Those are just folks that don't care about the situation. Stop trying to act as if those are the only people out there. They're not, but they're are the main thing people want to focus on. This should be about the cops and them only. They're the reason for all this.

"We look at the riot, but not the root."

Dude called me a "fagggot" ...I hit you where it hurt huh?

Yea cause I'm in here worried about my brother sitting here in the living room with my parents watching my mom in panic cause all this is happening up the block from where my little brother lives and goes to school and works. Yea I'm a bit upset that comment would have happen any other day I would have shook it off. This is a SERIOUS thread imagine how many people in here are worried about their loved ones in this city that's on the brink of Marshall law and you cracking jokes about my profession and who I date? Why you know that much information about me? I don't post nothing about my STRAIGHT EDGE girl that has diabetes which effects the pigment of her skin which makes her look sickly without make up etc. on NT which means you gotta be a fan somewhat of mines to know THAT much info about me. It's whatever though have some good laughs.

I'm also sensing a huge amount of people not understanding what "war" is, its gravity and price, and its longstanding consequences

I agree with you but the rioting/violence just perpetuates itself and the focus will stay there. Gotta turn that anger and focus it to turn the attention to the police somehow, to "the root". I don't have any answers though.

Edit: this is why people are saying rioting is useless. Yes they're getting their anger out and bringing attention to the situation but it's counterproductive because now the attention is more on rioting and less on racist crooked cops.

Everybody doesn't have the same mindset when it comes to this. You may get two different ways of thinking about the situation when you're angry compared to the next person. Someone may think they're doing something by burning **** down, while you and I may try to turn our focus elsewhere.

Did these clowns just burn down a newly constructed senior center?? No sense whatsoever.

Personally don't think those kids did...pretty random when compared to the other places they hit up

But I'm sure praying to God will restore everything

But your name is mr Marcus save it the IRONY fan boy.. You not in my living room right now. If you understand history you know these things just don't go on for one day. My parents are in their late 50's they know what these things can turn into. So save everyone else in this thread for information your next reply and let this thread continue to go on.

No, what needs to happen is somebody needs to nationally ask why this is going on. Don't stop asking until somebody who keeps avoiding the question. Until then, it's going to be about the riots, once it dies down, another life will be taken at the hands of police, and the cycle repeats

Exactly I agree, turn the focus where it belongs. Need a strong national voice with a group and resources behind them. And not Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson :smh: . Not a politician no one trusts them. I'm afraid to say it might have to be a big celebrity that people will pay attention to, who isn't afraid to push it forward. And that's sad.
