Totally agree. Need a strong national voice with a group and resources behind them. And not Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson :smh: . Not a politician no one trusts them. I'm afraid to say it might have to be a big celebrity that people will pay attention to, who isn't afraid to push it forward. And that's sad.

Yup, has to be somebody that has the finacial stability to survive the backlash.

Question I have is, we see all this going on, what's so different about this than say, the Watts riots or the Tulsa race riots? Other than time and advanced technology, what's different.

Hold up, gotta stop you right there.  Those other groups are NOT in the 'same boat' as black people by any means.  Asians, Arabs, Hispanics etc all own businesses in the black community strictly for the purpose of pulling money out of it and not giving back.   These groups cooperate and act as a collective with their money except when it comes to taking it from those of us who don't know any better. 

Blacks control .5% of the wealth in this country which is directly correlated to the fact that we are the easiest to kill, gentrify, jail, and whatever else WS want to do to us.  Arabs, Asians, Hispanics etc have a code and an economy that is theirs and theirs only.

On top of that, none of the groups you named are being killed off on video in large numbers and the cops get away with it.  I'm glad you said what you said because black people have to STOP calling ourselves 'minority' and lumping in with these other groups who see us as competition and not kumbaya buddies.   We're always the first to start talking about some 'black and Latino' nonsense then they turn their backs on us once the benefits start rolling in.

To illustrate this point I'm going to share a tweet uploaded by an Arab corner store owner in Chicago.  For those who don't know, '3abeed' or 'abeed' means slave in Arabic and it is the slur they use for black people.  This is how these store owners who 'are in the same boat' really feel about black people.

So we're not at all in the same boat.  They own businesses and spend money with each other, and don't get killed by police in large numbers.  We're in a paddleboat with holes in it while they are in speedboats.

Why you not speaking about cops killing unarmed blacks? Why is your attention so focused on oppressed people responding to these crimes from these race soldiers

Saying "no" to deployment orders is grounds for being fired, right? I have a sense many of these cops from what appears to now be a large radius around the general area don't want to be there. But have to be. Even the National Guard... If two protests happen at once, what happens then? That's probably what needs to happen next. They all can't be in Bmore and a neighboring city at the same time...

Then again, all of these dudes are getting extra OT this week. We are paying their outrageous salaries. So they do have a choice to be there in some regard. They're salaried robots though. It's not a good look on their part.

What will it take though for cops/law enforcement to just tell a city "deal with your own problems. We don't agree with what you're doing" ? I'm guessing if a cop is found guilty of something, and the police are slow or late to respond to "celebratory riots".

I'm hoping for some sense to be thrown into the cops faces about what they are really "defending".

Bruh you act like I don't see the bigger picture.. Like there is a AGENDA being pushed here when all of a sudden violence against blacks is national news WEEKLY. Weekly someone else is killed or in the news being abused. You don't see this is a plan to oppress us even more? We have a black president but weekly we lose black lives to law enforcement unjustly. I'm just UPSET on how we as a people play with it. Those kids are playing with it! This is a chance for them to act wild and dance in the street and break things. When the REAL LEADERS & protestors are trying to make these issues REALLY go away strategically not by dancing in the street and crip walking while you throw rocks. All these actions WILL make it a lot easier for them to lock us up. Our government is planning something people don't see it. Look up jade helm why does the government need do do military excersies in 7 states on US soil? They are provoking us on purpose so that when they can enact their plan and seem just when they do. Keep your eyes open.

If these people where infront city hall destroying it or at the police headquarters doing this I could just say ok I get it but don't condone it. They are reeking havoc in their own community and going to the mall to steal new Jordan's. This is systematic destruction of our own kind and community.

CNN saying the fire to the elderly center was deliberately set, though they were slick to just lump it in with the riot footage, and not specifically say if it was related or not
