Im a little slow....

What battles can be won?
Progress towards a change in law enforcement standards among other things...
It only took 3% of American colonists to defeat the British.

yea... the british population and military was a few thousand miles away too...

yea.... they have destroyed israel and finally stopped western society from influencing/manipulating the region right ......?

civilization makes progress at a slow rate.... fast progress can be made through terror and bloodshed..... but as a whole... we are moving in the right direction when you look at the "black" experience as a whole. (Think 50 year increments)

White supremacists on social media are spouting the usual lines. "He was a criminal, good riddance" or "if you don't resist arrest, you won't get hurt".

At the very least it's getting more and more and more apparent and most importantly harder to ignore that black men are being unjustly killed by cops.

But these the same dudes taunting and talking **** to cops with a legal carry on their hip exclaiming their rights. Hell of a privilege to be able to sway your position like that. I guarantee that's not even an exaggeration. We're not even allowed to be victims without some negative labeling attached.

It's so ridiculous

I guess its was determined by the police chief? idk remember who, but who ever said that the cops didnt need probably cause to arrest Freddie Gray.

So basically they can arrest anyone they want for just walking down the street, jumping over the cracks in the sidewalk, or waiting for the pedestrian sign to change?

Whats funny though is that who ever this was that said the cops didnt need probable casuse made this statement on top of at least one of the cops originally saying they thought Gray was just involved in a drug deal

Man it isnt just blacks its everyone. Until people who want to make a change notice and accept this, then progress can start to be made but as long as people want to play the cops vs blacks game no progress will ever be made

What you're not understanding is this, police brutality isn't the only problem black people have with cops and the justice system in general. Say for the sake of argument police brutality is completely wiped out exactly what changes? sure that maybe the end of white people's problems but does it end racial profiling? Does it end stop and frisk? Is it going to change the fact that even though drug users are overwhelmingly white those incarcerated for drugs are disproportionately black? Does it change the fact that black people on America are subconsciously and inherently perceived as a threat so that when a cop is faced with a black man even if unarmed he feels that his life is genuinely in danger? Here's the thing, white people do not have to worry about any of that. Their problems end when police brutality ends. But even when cops stop beating black people up ONCE they're arrested, it doesn't change the fact that black people are many times more likely to be stopped by police to begin with. THATS why its a cops vs blacks thing. And that's why Blacklivesmatter is a thing. White lives have always mattered, white rights have always mattered. America doesn't have a problem with that.

seen this from one of the protesters yesterday...look at the reason for contact...
I see nothing wrong. You must protest peacefully. he must have not was [protesting peacefully

If blacks dont want to get incarcerated, it is simple, stop selling drugs. Stop selling drugs you will not go to prison. And whites get off alot because they have money for lawyers. Blacks dont save up for lawyers

I wouldnt say it is racial profiling, because blacks cops in my city in a black neighboorhood if they saw a white boy driving through late evening they will pull him over and harrass him because he is out of place

You ever watch COPS, whites get beat and harrased to, they get pulled over for nothing just like blacks . Whites get shot by the police. Might of fact the white cop just killed the white teenager last week

Yea the cops is wrong but blacks need to stop playing the blaming game. Its 2015... How we telling whites top stop blaming OJ and Obama but we steady blaming cops

And next time a white person say why riot, and act ike they dont riot show them this

You're not even making an argument. The problem is that even though white people make up the largest majority in the US and studies show that in A LOT of catagories of crime, especially drug use white people are MORE LIKELY to use almost every category of illegal drugs but blacks are far more likely to be arrested for it. This whole "if blacks want to stop being arrested they should stop doing crime" mantra is NOT remotely relevant because the problem isn't that cops are are arresting blacks for no reason. The problem is that white doing crimes at the same rate are being arrested less. How do you explain the disproportionality? Does it make more send to generalize an entire race of people and say that they are inherently more likely to commit crime or that those enforcing the law are more to blame? I'll answer that for you. It's the latter.
