ok sorry but this may be the thing that sinks me. Right shoe is 07/09/14-10/24/14, left shoe is 07/09/14-10/27/14

That just adds to the authenticity even more if anything. This is very common for one shoe to have production dates that differ because the left and right shoes are manufactured separately and paired later on in the process so some will not have matching production dates.
 
^ I would agree, pretty sure you got a first run "samples" like the comp to pro players etc, don't sweat it, they legit, but I'm OCD & need everything perfect lol
 
But also why would the "promo" sample pairs which are supposed to be the "first run" have later dates than the legit NDC pairs?
 
Weird how the samples have production dates that end later than the retail pairs

Both my pairs end at 09/05, left and right.
