I agree with this.
If I could go back and tell my teenage self about the money I could have been growing, I dang near could have bought a house for cash
Don't even start op, it's not worth it.
dont waste your time collecting sneakers.
if you are wanting to collect just to collect something dont even start
Got a job years later and wasted money on jays and nike basketball shoes I could have been saving. I wish I could back. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug
This is an expensive hobby. Lot of dudes on here spending $100-$200+ weekly and the worst part is, it's not even practical.
For me:
But collecting? My advise is, if they hold no sentimental value to YOU don't.
Just dont start man... you'll thank me later.

took a few minutes for my dude to know how to use the multi quotes feature^
I guess what I'm wondering is why choose Nike in the first place? I'm new to collecting, and am trying to get a feel for what I should start my collection with.
What's a sneakerhead?
Dudes are consciously starting collections now?!
Sneakerheads are so damn lame.
your meat mustve gotten more action once you made da transitionIt's cuz i was teased for wearing kmart shoes. we would queue at the blue light specials and until one day, i had a pair of NIKES.
i went from CVS lotion to Aveeno. still had to DIY. manual trades, no trigger ordersyour meat mustve gotten more action once you made da transition
Nike has history op
They use the finest materials...made by the best workers.
All of their releases are made easily acceptable to us...the consumers.
And their prices are very...very fair.
Nike is the smart move opeee.
Just do it
It's really all preference. Buy what you like regardless of brand.
What makes Nike a staple in so many closets is, to put it briefly;
1.) Consistent quality designs
2.) Brand culture
3.) Star spokesmen
4.) Revolutionary and groundbreaking models like the Air Force 1, Air Max, and Air Jordan line that have become timeless classics.
5.) Diversity
6.) Some of the world's greatest of all time marketing teams. (seriously, Nike was killing the game back in the 80s and 90s. Like Mike ads, Mars Blackmon, Hare Jordan, Bo Knows)
7.) Continuing to break ground with the newest technology (Flynit, Performance woven uppers, Flywire, Lunarlon....this goes all the way back to Zoom Air)
I could keep going.
