Through the years I've experimented with a wide variety of study, workout, and relaxing music depending on what gear I wanted to get in to. As a youngin' classic rock was the go to; with recognizable melodies and known lyrics, the distraction level was low. Being able to focus clearly and without dissecting the music was key to my ability to remained locked in on my studies.

Entering college, hip hop provided a stronger beat; more rhythm which allowed me to attack math problems and engineering equations. In the past couple years I've come to love instrumental music. Such works as Gramatik and Pretty Lights - provide the pace I needed, with inspirational melodies that really pushed me through long study sessions, and eventually the all night studio sessions in my architectural study. Instrumental hip hop, although present, hasn't seen many new faces. I find this confusing because there are THOUSANDS of hip hop producers out there that struggle to find their way to artist collaborations.

5 Years ago my friend and I began experimenting in audio production software, creating our own sounds without a real goal in mind. We recently decided to delve in to this world of instrumental hip hop, with my strong belief that it is an un-challenged musical market which NEEDS new artists. I compiled 13 tracks, came up with an idea and put together a 40 minute listening experience that is (hopefully) inspiring. Hence, I present our project, Fresh Produce Volume 1. Cinematic backdrops, with inspiring melodies which we feel give a movie like experience to studying or working out.

My goal here is to gain honest opinions on this niche, and see if our music (although un-mastered, nor professionally done) can motivate those to push through the daunting task of pulling an all nighter, or reaching that next personal fitness goal. This is my first NikeTalk post, I hope to gain great connections in this unique community!
