How do you feel about folks in DC?

As much diversity as there is in the area,do you feels that lends itself to being a mixing pot? Socially, I'm with all colors but in the workplace I don't feel that's so.

And I'm trying to do right by Meth. If I have offended you, I'm very sorry. I  want to start over.

The majority of my threads do excellent.

They wouldn't if people like you didn't bump them. Not posting is the next best thing to down voting except you didn't do that.

I'll start. I live in PG county, but always be in DC 75% of the time (work, hanging out, and etc.) I think DC(DMV) got the "crabs in the barrel" mentality. Most people here don't want to see the next man rise up the ladder. Prime example, the rapper Wale, radio stations don't really play his music because of envy(in my opinion). If you noticed, it's not a lot of rappers from this area that make it big because most people here are all about themselves and will undercut you if you're progressing faster then them.

As far as the women, most chicks here make themselves bigger then what they actually appear. They go above and beyond to mimic the lifestyles of what they see on the reality show, "Love and Hip hop". Also, some chicks here feel as though they're entitled where they feel like they don't have to do much as far as relationships go. It's more, but I think that's just the blink of some people here.

Not sure how this is DC related. Isn't this just a general workplace question?
