Some of us can separate Mayweather the boxer vs Mayweather the human being. I can careless about his personal life.... now he's wrong with hitting women but that doesn't make me respect him less as a boxer. Plus he's most definitely getting hated on because he's black, arrogant, and wealthy. Btw he isn't the only athlete who has had domestic violence charges. #tmt
 
Doesn't matter what black men do. You can be the President of the ******* US and a large percentage of the population will find every reason in the world to hate you.

The truth of it is, if you're not tap dancing and smiling exactly like they want, you're a no good ******. That said, my support for Floyd is because if we don't stick by our own who clearly don't follow the unspoken rules, then we'll never get anywhere. By we, I mean black folks. None of us are perfect.

I watched the fight with an LAPD officer and we had the DV convo. Basically if you and your wife get into a dispute and you lightly grab her by the arm and escort her out that's DV. Now I'm not saying that's right either but my point is you guys don't seem to understand the full spectrum of what can be considered domestic violence in the eyes of the law. So if we're gonna treat the situation fairly we have to take that into consideration.

Floyd is guilty of being sloppy with his relationships I can imagine how wreckless he was when he was younger so he had females calling 5o left and right. I'm not saying he's innocent but I am saying that y'all calling him a woman beater with no physical evidence,don't even know details, don't have a full account of events from both parties, don't even know the man personally, and beliving blindly in anything the media spews at you...y'all some group think hypocrites man. You never done no wrong in your life huh? Chances are you have but the difference between you and him is your not put under a microscope and your broke.

Let's make sure we got **** correct in our own lives before we decide to condemn others for **** we really have no clue about.

keep in mind that in one of those documented instances, his 10 year old son snuck out of the house (because a TMT lackey blocked the door) to alert the authorities his father was beating his mother. Unless his son is just a liar....

But this thread is titled "not related to boxing"

As boxer he is a legend, as a person he comes across as arrogant. So taking boxing out of the mix, why would you want to defend such an arrogant person with a sketchy past involving women?

I'm really confident too.... so him talking the way he does doesn't bother me. The women beater part doesn't bother me because their has been plenty of athletes with sketchy pasts. Their just bringing up his because he's black. It is what it is
 
Dealt with a situation myself last weekend. And I mean this sincerely.

The day of the fight, a friend of my gf was getting her *** BEAT because she got caught slipping talking to some other dude. We went, to make sure she could leave safely thinking she was alone because dude had dipped, but I had no intention of fighting that man or judging him. My gf was just concerned that old girl was gonna get murked.

Long story short, we got her to safety and unfortunately for dude, he got locked up when he showed back up to the spot. Got hit with 3 felonies and a misdemeanor. :smh: Now was he right? No. But I know for a fact shorty has had two abortions for two different dudes while she's been married to him and is a cereal cheater. She's got long bread and is good looking, but has no self control. Am I judging her? No. The point is usually when **** gets to that point, both parties are at fault. And honestly, I have no way of knowing if she ever puts hands on him, because I only ever hear her side, second hand.

I think he definitely slips into racists territory from time to time. Not gonna say he's a card carrying member of the KKK, but some of the stuff he says about black athletes when they get in trouble makes me cringe honestly.

I can agree to this, actually.

I know quite a couple older heads that have a distaste towards Floyd because of his out of ring actions and statements.

Everyone loved Mike, though. Especially after he was shown that he is actively trying to clean up his act.

An update to that story. Dude is still locked up and goes to court today. So he's been in there for 5 days already.

Old girl admitted to my gf last night that she felt guilty because she hit him too and has plenty in the past. :smh: So dude's life just got flushed down the drain over some **** that she does to him as well, by a female who cheats constantly.

Be careful out there fellas. And for those wondering, my gf goes nowhere with this female, even when invited, unless it's a couples type of outing. And that's not due to me having to tell her anything. She just knows old girl lives a wild lifestyle from working with her in the past and the stories she's told over the years.
