Miguel ft Travis Scott - Skywalker from upcoming new album

From the first few listens there are a few iffy songs, but overall this is really good. I'd say the standouts are goingtohell, waves, and Hollywood dreams. I can't wait to get this in the car for a while.
 
Maybe my expectations were too high for this album but I was not feeling this after the first listen.

Going to really have to listen to this in the whip and see how it sinks in.

not as simptastic as I was hoping. "coffee" is still amazing though
 
Gave it several spins and its growing on me heavy.

I like ...goingtohell & Face the Sun, beautiful exit
 
This dude knows how to put together an album. He doesn't chase singles and compromise his sound like the rest of these clowns. I hit play in the morning and haven't hit stop yet . I thought I'd listen to it once and be done with it for the day/ back to them new JB3 tracks. This album is really complete. He's 3 for 3.


The Valley, Flesh, Leaves, What's Normal Anyway, Face The Sun are my favs, but the whole album could easily be played start to finish.


Anybody get the Cole vibe on What's Normal Anyway? He should be on this track. Miguel's delivery of the hook sound like something Cole would do.

I love this album. The only songs I skip are the valley and nwa. Goingtohell is by far my favorite track.
 
Only a few songs in and I can't even hear him. The **** is up with that? I have the iTunes version so it's not quality. Vocals were drowned out by the production.

Maybe try EQ'n it and bringing the vocals more up front.

Finally gave it a spin today. Kaleidoscope Dream is still his best album but this **** is jamming :nthat:
 
Not a fan of this sound. It's not my type of R&B. Not sure if this is even considered R&B. "All I Want Is You" will always be my favorite Miguel album and I don't think he'll ever go back to that sound.


Sound quality on the new one is terrible, reminds me of A$AP's new album :x
 
Gonna wait til Tuesday to buy. The few songs that I've heard are smooth. Best live performer I've seen as well.
 
Just seen Damned is on the pre-order. Looks like a bonus track. That's the joint Premier produced, should be fire.

R&B barely exists period. It's all half rap-singing over trap beats and mustard beats.
 
something about the engineering is off to me

sounds like he put a towel over the mic and started singing and something tells me this was done purposely but I don't like it

Yeah I feel you. Like Destinado a morir is so low in my car.

But I love the album
