There was a burgundy pair with the LJ23 on the heel, same pair but green for SVSM, that ugly silver pair with the red swoosh and that weird design on the heel, I'm not sure if he got a pair with his face lasered on the heel like the Kobes and then the amazing Chamber of Fear collection. I'd kill a man for the black, red and yellow pair.

I actually think these could be way easier to lace swap than the 12's, the eyelets look larger and some have plastic holes, they aren't just crappy slits in that rigid material the 12's used.  Can't possibly be as bad as the 12's were. 

  

Only weird part will be how do the laces flow underneath the postie piece after the 2nd set of eyelets?  That could feel strange if they just dangle or sit on top of your foot underneath the "tongue" area of the shoe.

How can one say CLE colors won't sell when some of the most beloved colors are CLE colors?
CTK and HWC....

And I guess the shoe would need a receding lace line to make us feel like it resembles lebron?

I certainly don't want a shoe that resembled his toes (please don't post the pic )

I remember the cool back story we used to get with jordans. It would really make me say... Well dang, that makes sense (queue the zo gif)

Agreed with all of the above, sadly Nike's current demographic were toddlers when the aforementioned shoes came out.

One problem with the LBJ line up since the IX is the fact that they have been put up on Nike iD. That essentially puts constraints on the designer as they have to create a sneaker that is relatively easy to manufacture.

seems like the same discussion we were having a year ago in the 12 thread...and just like last year im going to say that we all are going to end up with at least one pair of these by the end of the line!!!

The IXs are my favorite lebrons, and these do not remind me of the IX. This is just not a good design for casual at all. Will probably try a pair to hoop in.

They don't have to...they want to. Even the most complicated nike with the most premium materials are pennies on the dollar to manufacture and ship.

Yeah, he was referring my post saying that releasing and SB now when he's back in Cle doesn't make a lot of sense. Just as no Cle colors were released when he was in Miami.

Somewhere he got confused that Cle colors would not be a seller, which is not the case. But to be fair the CTK's and HWC's that you mention were always sample/F&F pairs...but if they did release...forget about it. Hell even release a few now for giggles.
