THE LEBRON 13 THREAD *Elites released**Command Force 6/11/16

“I wasn’t able to hear the whole story because I was actually in the game and coach was drawing up a play. But I looked up at the jumbotron and I saw what he’s been through and where he is now. …I looked up there and this game is so much more than basketball.”

The superstar forward also noted that Miller caught his eye since he was wearing Nike Flyease sneakers that were designed for children with disabilities.

“Those shoes that he had on are made for kids that can’t tie their own shoes,” James said. “It’s just one strap. They’re able to get them on with one hand or whatever the case may be. Then when I saw his story, it was just like, I don’t know, I felt like I was a part of him. So I was just showing my respect, gave him my shoes. It was well-received by him. It was not for you guys or the fans. It was for him.”

Good on you, Lebron...and Nike for designing those Flyease kicks.

As if fan as I am of Lebron, even I know all of that is Lebrons PR team.
It's good that he is doing it tho.

I didn't know Lebron's PR team signed the shoes and gave them to him ....

Yep, because when I said that I meant that Lebron's PR team was the ones going out there and signing the shoes, and giving it to him.....
Yep.

But..."The Decision" and "taking talents to South Beach"!
Who cares!? I'll NEVER understand how people can hate him specifically for that. It's a joke. And I think people also forget how much money that raised for charities. He was a little big headed back in those day; who wouldn't be? ****.

I completely agree. I don't have any issues against Lebron James as a human being or a player for that matter.

My comment was with regards to why people seem to dislike him. You know he regrets how he handled that situation. But he was younger then and had a lot more pressure on him to produce a title anywhere. If anything his leaving made it possible for the Cavs to build a team to bring him back into so they can win a title.

^Exactly. Was his "decision" silly? Yeah. Made him look a little big headed? Yeah. HATE the dude because of it?! Come on, man! He was/IS the greatest player on the planet and it went to his head. So what. We'd a' all done the same thing
