i think the shoe has entirely transitioned to a basketball shoe and has no style to it anymore.  nothing wrong with that but yore just not going to see that same kind of wearability with them like you did with the 8 and10 etc
 
These are looking like another pass. Next year may very well be the year that I throw some money towards the KD's. :lol:

I'm liking what I see so far I just want to see how the 13's will look with the strap or whatever nike plans to call it :lol: you can definitely see there's suppose to be something there. It will also add more style to the shoe imo. Also the 13's so farr give me a slight Air Mag feel. I could really see that color way on this pic again just my opinion though.
 
Man the 8-11 were quintessential Lebron shoes.

12 and now 13 are like the New York Knicks if his sneaker line
 
The line peaked at 2. 8-10 (edit from 11) was the era of the hypebeast. These actually look ok. The material used for the upper has my attention.

Make no mistake though. The 2 destroys the rest of his line. Been downhill since then. The 5 is the worse Bron by far.

meh. just because the 8-11 had hypebeast colors for you.

if u fell for the hype colors thats on you.

for me my fav 8s were: triple black, og color, and vets day (all gr as hell).

for me my fav 9s were: swingman/griffey joints (gr as hell)

for me my fav 10s were: christmas (surprise xmas present from my momma)

for me the greatest 11s ever created: Kings pride.
 
Not colors. The numbers 8-11 will always be in high regard because of hype more than anything else. The shoes were nice. Only 2 stand alone though.

Crown Jewel 10 and Kings Pride 11. Those are classic LeBron sneakers. Right up there with the Black/red 2 and First Game AZG. IMO

No, 8-10 was the "era of the hypebeast." It started steadily declining at the 11's. A good majority of them went to outlets. 
 
Joints look lifeless devoid of any imagination or creativity. Nike still robbing their fanboys. I haven't bought any Nike SIgs lately all are mediocre at best even the Kobes. Kobe 10 is trash, KD 7 and 8 are trash, LeBron 12 and 13 doo doo. Nike just living off it's name and nostalgia at this point.

the first 3 XI colorways were a breath of fresh air. then nike did the usual nike w the themed colors and all that jazz.

9.5 champ. The TW is another CW of the 11 I don't think got the love it deserves either. I can't remember some of the later 11 CWs but the first few were on point.

Naw, people didn't like the 8's until the line was over and they saw the prices of SB's go up. You could of bought the SB's on release day EASY online and in store. 8V2 and up are all plastic trash
 
I kind of like how this design is more simplistic in terms of aesthetics.  

Could be a very comfortable hoop shoe.  

Just not in love with that first colorway.

This is 100% correct.  

The LeBron 9 is the "hypebeast" model of the line.  People who didn't mess with Brons came out for the hyped up 9's, then left again when the X's dropped.  Same ones that ignored all 8's except for SB's, and only after the "thrist" for the SB's developed.  No one wanted them when they first dropped.
