Leather isn't very light or breathable compared to materials like flyknit or hyperfuse nor does it provide the level of support that a material like foamposite does. It does look better than all of those, IMO though.

1. Leather molds to your foot

2. This idea that man made materials are superior to 'god' made materials is absurd, it's a line of corporate BS.

3. I do acknowledge that synthetics offer pretty, entrancing, unreal colors, I'm into that, we all are, and Nike knows this.

4. Why would anyone play in Foamposite? It's too stiff.

There's no argument about that guys statement that leather isn't as light or breathable as flyknit or hyperfuse. That's a fact. But the foamposite/leather argument could be debatable

But it's not pliable and supple, man made materials loosen up for me but they never mold to my foot like a quality leather does.

I dont think anyone has bought a pair of basketball shoes that are made of real leather for the last 10-15 years if not longer. Its all pleather bruh, real leather is expensive and is used only in high class dress shoes.

Along with the gentleman's statement about synthetic leathers as opposed to real leather which is true. A world class athlete like lbj and others has no need for a piece of leather to mold to his foot because his shoes are created froma mold of his foot anyway.

The zippers just don't work and the magnet on the 3's are useless. Always had a problem with the fit of the shoes too. Either too small or feel too big. Might just be me.
