Man I def need to hold a pair of these in hand before I can say whether I'm in or I'm out. Curious to see how much they weigh, what the materials feel like, and I really wanna try em on to test out the stretch fit upper and the "embedded body-mapped hyperposite". Man that last part sounds crazy, it's probably that body organ looking piece they borrowed from the IXs.

Along with the gentleman's statement about synthetic leathers as opposed to real leather which is true. A world class athlete like lbj and others has no need for a piece of leather to mold to his foot because his shoes are created froma mold of his foot anyway.

Well good for him, I'm not him though and neither are you, and hyper whatever's toebox will never break in like leather, it retains it's shape, so rather than the shoe forming to my foot, Nike expects my foot to form to it's shoe.

I dont think anyone has bought a pair of basketball shoes that are made of real leather for the last 10-15 years if not longer. Its all pleather bruh, real leather is expensive and is used only in high class dress shoes.

These have a more retro vibe unlike the past two Lebrons looking so futuristic. Really liking it. Simple and clean. Has potential for good colorblocking/patterns.

you are right. i'm not him, and neither are you...so the difference between a shoe molding to your foot or not during a few games of hoops a year is negligible at best. which is why i still play ball in my lebron 8 3x black lows.

1st CW of new LeBrons is always good. Crown Jewel, Kings Pride, NSRL and now this Berry CW. Something different and cool everytime IMO.

FYI for the technical members, I realize the TW 11 dropped first in China and the Heart of Lion 12 did also. NSRL was supposed to be the lead CW.

Crown Jewel was the first X? shows how much I know about that shoe... I always thought it was that Olympic one with the textured gold swoosh, then again that was the only X I liked. Hated every other one except that red carpet ID (don't even post your pair with the ...you know who you are )

Yeah I'd agree. That first non-team/"energy" colorway is usually one of the better colorways when it's all said and done. Can throw the Red Carpet 7s, South Beach 8s, and Cannon 9s in there too.

Flyknit this. Flyknit that. From now on, every Nike shoe shold be made out of flyknit. Check that, even the shirts and socks should be made out of flyknit.
