Nah those are hot.

The fact that that was a quick PS says that the will be hot if they get busy with the colorways like they supposed to lol.

[COLOR=#Red]Some of you may be a little young to remember, but these remind me of how the Lebron 2's were when released. They were very underwhelming in photos, definitely not photogenic, but on your feet they were stunning.

People are mad at Nike because of hiked up retail prices, indistinct designs. Then add in features that sometimes seem only there to pad the price further.

Not sure i'd call the Lebron 2 stunning...but the shoe performs well, is uncluttered by gimmicks. It's somewhat distinctive and didn't have a $200 plus price tag.

Lacing is still weird to me... didn't think that adding lace loops instead of cuts out would count as an upgrade, lol

... and only 3 Zoom pods in the Men's version?!

... and no more drawer box :frown:

I know the price is the same, but what is it... year of downgrades?!

Unless these are pure performance beasts... I will save a lot of money this year.

A few people say it all the time...nothing is going to change unless people just stop buying. I mean at deep disco I guess sends the message to Nike that nobody is buying a downgraded shoe for $200 but who knows. And they can't tell me that they're "saving" extra Zoom pods for the Elite...giving us "regular" cushioning for an Elite price? Come on...Nike is really trying to insult people with this release. The shoe itself is fine for what it is. No qualms about it really. But these little things (pods, box, price point...) Oh well...

Do you really need zoom under your toes? Isn't it for impact protection?

Nike tends to change the description of good cushioning with each shoe. I think guards do appreciate the full-length options, which include "toe cushioning" as well. I think one of CP3's latest sigs has threads on the toebox for traction.

Plus they gave us this option last year so why all of a sudden it's useless?

Actually, looking at LEBRON13 it's not all about the lack of toe cushioning. Before the hexagonal pods the regular forefoot units were still bigger and packed more bounce.

I guess, Nike need to sell this idea somehow, but I will be mad if the Elite, which is way overpriced and only 3 colorways, will get more juice instead.

I understand a forefoot unit because you need it under the balls of your feet but I don't see the need for it under your toes... and of course the Elite will have more. Thats what makes it an Elite  if the S63 had the same engine as the S550 who would pay the price hike?

13 don't look better than the 11's but do look better than the KPs...do think the Christmas pair will be fire!

I don't understand why they are pushing another logo on the heel area.. Seems like LBJ has way too many logos. The first logo with 23 was great but I understand that after he went to Miami his logo needed to be updated. The whole dunkman was not gonna last because it's just so similar to MJ's... The current LJ with the crown on top is perfect imo. It's completely different from MJs signature look and incorporates some modernism which reflects the significant design element of LBJ's career timeline. This new logo.. I don't know..

I'm still optimistic, but with the newer set of pics, it's become clear that there is just way too much going on.

Toe-to-tongue, running down the centre of the shoe, you have the Lebron Crown on the toecap(ugh), then the toe swoosh sweeping into the middle, then the weird posit overlay splicing the laces, then the honeycomb logo, then the Lebron signature on the tongue.

What were they thinking? There's just so much going on with the branding, it's a total mess, and this doesn't even address that large posit spiral/stars on the wings.
