Ha ha ha. I don't see a actual influence. It's just that angle. Toe is smooth and not boxed at all.

Yeah it's smooth just has a super flat shape lol, that other front shot of dude wearing them with jeans looks just as hollow at the toe as if it weren't on a foot

Definitely a great match for VA Tech gear, although I'd go with the Mike jersey. If you get a Marcus one, just avoid hitting up any fast food joints!
This is my only concern about the XIII......The posite strip should be pretty snug for lockdown/support purposes, but I hope it's not too tight. I have a fairly high instep, so I just hope that posite piece and underneath lacing setup doesn't irritate my foot.

I have a high bone on the top of my feet but I think that posite piece is lower than where it would hit my bone.
Honestly im sold, the colors are too nice on this and I really like the midsole design. May be the first time I pick up the first colorway of a Bron shoe on any model.

Mulberry are growing on me. But I love the shape of the toe box. My wife feet are going to love these. I really hope they unveil the color ways they have for the rest of the year like they did last year. Honestly...this pair has high potential and nothing is worse than that xmas pair from last year[emoji]128567[/emoji]

How can one say CLE colors won't sell when some of the most beloved colors are CLE colors?
CTK and HWC....
And I guess the shoe would need a receding lace line to make us feel like it resembles lebron?

Yeah, he was referring my post saying that releasing and SB now when he's back in Cle doesn't make a lot of sense. Just as no Cle colors were released when he was in Miami.
Somewhere he got confused that Cle colors would not be a seller, which is not the case. But to be fair the CTK's and HWC's that you mention were always sample/F&F pairs...but if they did release...forget about it. Hell even release a few now for giggles.

I saw the Lebron XIII in person today.
They look alot nicer in person.
They are soft and light compared to recent Lebrons. I feel like every Lebron since the Lebron 8 has been kinda hard and plasticky (Waits for the dude who says his Lebrons felt super soft)
The materials on these, feel like a softer ballistic mesh or almost like Flyknit, The top posite part doesn't feel that thick with the hand. I don't know how it feels on the foot because I didn't try them on. I don't think it will be a Lebron XI Elite plastic wing level of discomfort. I'm assuming these should feel comfortable on the outside of your feet.
The cushioning is where I'm not sure about. Theres seems to be more foam cushion than the Lebron XII but the Zoom pods look smaller than one the Lebron XII.
