I wanna see where this model goes as well. I really liked the 12, but only have 3 pairs and only copped on big discounts. Big departure from my past Bron buying (10+ pairs per model since the 7).

I hate Jordan Brand. I do not own a single retro J, as their pricing and quality are straight comedy. Don't like Foams either, but their prices keep going up as well. At least they have a durability factor. BUT they have always been 200+. Bron's used to be $160...where does it stop ya know? Sometimes makes it hard to get really into a model if you don't feel like shelling out the dough.

Yeah at times the bootie options were black white and grey weren't they? I get kinda annoyed when they roll them out in stages as well.

At first you had about 6 or 7 bootie/fuse options that were already paired. Then they separated the fuse/bootie and gave us 3 base fuse options with any 8 or so bootie options while changing the posite graphics.

Thanks bro. Got a chance to see the mulberrys in person today and it's crazy how much lighter they feel versus the 12. Alot of dope details too and my favorite part is the shank plate detailing. Kind of sucks how nike got rid of a zoom bag tho

Only thing that's disappointing to me so far now that we have a real look at the 13, is I initially thought the shank piece (black on the mulberry pair) that slants up through the sole and midsole was carbon fiber.  Looks like it's just plastic.  

Maybe it will be carbon fiber on the elites.

Feel lighter in hand than the 12's, will put them on the scale tonight.  

Slipped them on for a few minutes just to see how the fit was (no pics, I have a suit on

) and they feel a lot like the 12's in terms of fit.  I went with a 9.5 on 12's, 9.5 on these, feels right. Pretty comfortable on, definitely have the "bootie" fit like the 12's, feel very similar.  The low back heel cut out makes them very easy to put on, don't feel as tall on foot as they look.    

Grizz was absolutely right, the lacing is worse than the 12's, I'm not even sure these can be relaced.  The laces run under the posite piece in the midfoot, but are covered by material inside the shoe, so you have no access to the laces where they disappear from the upper....so you would have to somehow "fish" the laces through the eyelets in that fabric pocket without seeing them, to the correct eyelets...not sure it can be done, maybe use a coat hanger to guide them through?  I really thought they would be accessible inside the shoe, but nope.  

Gonna take them to the court tonight for some hoops.  Will try to type up a little review when I get back tonight for those interested in performance on court stuff.

Ehh white black red has more to do with a selling point than the team he plays on.

Its the jordan factor. Nike sometimes tries to play it safe with that colorway when they know it might not be too appealing to the casual fan.

Case in point the kobe 1 in white black red instead of the 81 point game shoes.
