It's prob like fishing, patience is required

I just unlaced them down to the bottom eyelets with the pouch then taped the two laces together. The eyelets are just big enough to wrap a single layer of duct tape around the tips of both laces and pull them through, so the new laces go through as you pull the old ones out. If they get stuck and the tape breaks you just have to stick something like a skewer or long match through and tape the old lace to it to pull it back through and start again. I learned that the hard way when I rushed with the second shoe

So for Black History Month, they'll make sure the shoes come out 2 weeks prior, the month before, but they'll release the Christmas pair after the holiday is over. Nike is a joke.

Pretty sad when the best part of a shoe is a 5c lace lock.



Actually, it doesn't even lock laces. It's just a decoration.






Also, would cop Opening Nights if I could find them for a decent price. $220 starting point wasn't exactly a smart move...

I guess I'm in the minority because I actually think the BHM colorway is really nice. I'd pay $100 out the door for them. I'd go 20 bucks over.
