THE LEBRON 13 THREAD *Elites released**Command Force 6/11/16

Liking the feedback so far....I can smell the Sports Authority discounts from here :pimp:

I think this what most of us like to see anyway. I really liked the Lebron xii line this year. But for the most part the CW'S that came out wasn't enough for folks to wanna cop on RD. So seeing those discos early out the gate really made some jump on them for the price. For me I know down the line all the current models will be had for dumb cheap.

Nevertheless I'm wondering if the strap/posite material has anything to do with the 1 of 1 dynamic fit.

I think @BarbarianBob
needs to get up in here and make one of his "lists."

Turn will be monumental on these.

AGREED!! Dudes up here throwing in the towel on the entire line based on some blurry pics? Canceling out every color way possible any EXT or Elite versions from a few undetailed blurry pics!? :smh: Oh yes the turn is going to be MASSIVE!

This. Prisoners of the moment.
Yep...that's just how it goes.

The XI's turn(s) was the best...horrible weird PS first leaked pic with strange shadowing of the King's Pride colorway shown, everyone questioning the entire line, jumping ship left and right.  Then better pics, Bron wears it in that running Nike commercial for Miami, it ends up as probably the favorite colorway of that line.  Then LeBron had problems with the model during the NBA season, so there was this whole group with pitch fork's asking for Nike's head, saying how big of a failure the XI was, how no one in this "group" would buy it since LeBron wouldn't wear it. One of the craziest shoe following cycles I've seen for a signature.

My opinion is null and void...merely because I wear these to rep my favorite athlete. I have no shame when it comes to that

I mean, they get a lot of gym wear but I'm not doing anything spectacular in them and they honestly aren't the best shoe for my build (aside from Lows, they feel perfect).  I couldn't get into the first half of the 12's because I was ticked that they were blatant Miami leftovers so I'm more excited to just start off the model with the correct team in mind.  Nike can put bird dookie on the initial release pair and I'm going to be so hyped up for the new season and model in October, that I'll be first in line

No shame....I think we are all excited to finally see a REAL Cavs colorway!

Two page list of those who "TURN" being formulated as we post

Everything since the Lebron 2 has either been too generic or just bulbous/mishapen to me.   But the Lebron 12... i don't think i could find the XIII any harder to look at.

I disagree, it was the VIIs that started the 'generic' looking trend. Those and the HyperMax that dropped that year were just too darn similar.

Nike presently are too focused on minimizing production costs and that stifles creativity - hence the overuse of seamless designs, solid plastic/foamposite panels and excessive vinyl graphics.

i never turned with the 12. i thought the wheats and recent usa would be it. if they hit for like 100-120 wood cop

I'm fairly indifferent to the Zoom Generation as well! So i think the 2 must be an exception, and it's just a line i will never really like.

You know what though? I appreciate the honesty in that and have no problem with it.

Still waiting on better pics myself though. 12's were a pass tho so we'll see. (In fact it's been way too long since I got a pair of Kobes, KD's, or Lebrons)

The 12 was the first signature shoe that I hated from start to finish. The lows aren't good either.

Sales wise the 12s had to be a flop right? Damn near every color hit the sale rack. Low key all Nike sigs flopped this year

I don't think them hitting sales racks is a true litmus test for "sales" anymore.

Almost all LBJ 11's hit the sales racks and clearance stores hard, and they still had the highest sales of the LeBron line to date ($300 million).

Whether they were a "flop" or not is an entirely other (subjective) debate, that seems to happen every year.
