We should all take a second to appreciate the greatness that this is song. Cant it even be called a song? Should it be songs? Epic story seems more appropriate. Crazy that this was only supposed to be five chapter and we ended up with 33, even crazier is that it never lagged.

So much

This is R&B though, how do you like this song?

This is one of my favorite songs. Just thought it was a great idea and well done. The beat was simple and the story was cool. I really wish he would have left it at the original story and wrapped it up in 7 or 8 chapters though. He did way too much after 8 or 9. Just got dumb and he never really got back into the original characters.

Does Trapped in the Closet fit the common R&B archetype of "Baby I love you" and "Baby I'm Sorry"? Not really.

The fact that most R&B I hear centers around those two themes is why I deem a terrible genre of music. Its repetitive and boring. Trapped in the Closet is neither of those things.

The first few chapters were good then it was just comedy.

This ain't close to R Kelly's best work. 12 Play, R, Love Letter are all better than. You should stick to Jay threads if you don't know R&B.

Ok man, if you say so. If I had to pick any piece of R. Kelly work to ride out to, I'm picking Trapped In The Closet. IDK what else can be said.

Real talk that album was great
Sex in the kitchen was my ****
But on the real the best chapter of trapped in the closet is pt.1
Only one I know word for word
Last chapter I actually seen
Was when they found out dude had the "package"
"Pa pa pa package"

Nope. I'm generally not a fan of R. Kellys work, Trapped In The Closet is pretty much the only R.Kelly song I really like. Probably a few songs here and there I would let play until the end if they came on, but I wouldnt go out and actively listening an R.Kelly Project that wasnt Trapped in the Closet.

How many of these things he have?

Ain't it like 20 something

Still, I remember moms had that collection waiting on these to drop like Air Jordans

@ this being Robert's best work.  Get the entire **** outta here with that.  You've gotta be young as hell to say such a blasphemous thing, and I'm not even a R. Kelly fan like that.

Like someone already mentioned, the first few were good.  But after awhile it became incredibly corny.

Dude hates R&B but wants to tell us what R Kelly's best piece of work is. Ok

But I do appreciate all the chapters and I'm younger than most of Kellz audience (26) so that may be why I like Chocolate Factory over 12 Play.

I wish we could return to the days where the discussions were meaningful
and dudes werent making threads solely for shock value.
no real fan would proclaim this as being anything NEAR his best work..this is garbage.
always felt it was an abomination and a huge stain on a stellar résumé.

...hell outta here with this man

Been saying this for years fam. This isnt a shock value or a troll post.

This was the beginning of kellz downfall. After chapter 5 or so, it became silly.

TP-2.com is Kellz best work, and my 2nd favorite album ever. Tp3 started alll that fake S!!! where he was trying to be jamaican, then he wanted to be a rapper, then a damn gold hair skateboarder.

No artist has taken such a fall. and i didnt even mention the molestation stuff.

You claim you don't like his genre of music but you're telling us this is his best work. That makes no sense.

That's like me saying "Taylor Swift's new album is her best" when I don't know **** about country music.

Knew who made this thread when I saw the title

You love this song dude

And I wouldn't even call this song his best work either, all I'm sayin is the boy's catalogue is far deeper than "Trapped In The Closet"...

...Hell, half of me wants to say his best work is Mike's "You Are Not Alone."

Greatest work? No way. R and tp2 are masterfull. Those were his championship rings. This song is a skills challenge trophy.

Kellz wrote you are not alone?! Thats crazy. One of my favorite mj songs was written by my favorite r&b singer.

Man, this guy might be the greatest R&B artist to ever grab a microphone. He's just such a genius. Kellz fell off after TP3.com
