You could live in LA off 60 easy. The same can't be said for SF. I was making 6 figs and still not as comfortable as I generally like.

People just tend to choose things like getting jobs, going to work, and saving for their future because they want to be self sufficient and don't want to be screwed in the long-run. You're also free to be a moron and not do these things, but again...up to you.
If you feel obligated to get married, have kids, watch TV, follow fashion, etc., then you're only a slave to your own mind. Don't project that onto everyone else.

I get essentially 30 days PTO a year and have trouble using it all.
I figure it adds about 6 k to my annual salary
Europeans are great, but American culture is much more my speed, faster paced, and less abstract. I like sitting for an hour or so when I go out to eat with friends. Not 4 hours

Nah man, I meant when I'm in SoCal I'm usually just around LA now. In the last 2 years I've only made it to LBC twice, and that was to just pick a friend uphopefully never unless I get a job and move there

The economy in some of those European countries are terrible. The effect of that is immigrants getting abused and treated like **** *looks at Italy, Spain, and Greece*
