Anyone Ever Take A Solo Vacation?

Went all over Europe last year for 2 weeks pretty much by myself. One of my boys was with me for Germany and Amsterdam, but the majority of the trip was solo. Best time I've ever had.

Ima have to take a trip dolo this summer. My friends are either married/serious relationships and won't travel w.o wifey or don't have the proper funds.

Used to go up to Tahoe for the weekend and just chill by the lake, contemplate about life while looking at nature. Very rejuvenating and peaceful. I highly advocating taking a weekend trip by yourself if you are ever stressed from the real world.

Traveling solo is an activity I consider a mental/personality strength some of us are strong enough to have.

Like said above I like the peace of mind of no one bugging me,waiting on others or conflict of interest when it comes to doing things on a vacation.

Some people are scared to travel to a foreign country alone or even going to a club or bar alone.

solo trips > traveling with anyone else

bid for a flight on priceline, book a cheap spot on airbnb, find spots to eat with yelp, places to see with tripadvisor, buy a portable charger so your phone is charged all day while you explore, and bring a camera. instead of buying kicks last year, i traveled a total of 6 weeks.

1k can take you a long way OP if you plan right. i did hawaii for 2 weeks on 1k

if you're unsure where your money can take you, this is a dope resource but i still recommend bidding for a flight on priceline instead:

Can you explain the priceline bid thing

this thread has motivated me to do a solo trip in the next couple of months...

that is a cool idea though...to go somewhere and literally not do anything and just relax...

i think that may be the only way i'd do a solo trip is if its 2-3 days max and its literally nothing but chill, sun, beach, food, walk around...
when my money is right, i'd want to take a solo road trip down to socal. go to disneyland, my old university, the beaches... just to have some quality "soul searching/thinking time" if you will.
