All Things Sports Media Thread!!

Any given Wednesday comes off again, is this the most random show schedule?

Michael Smith is cool, only seen/heard jemele hill a few times and wasn't a fan.

Simmons said from the beginning that it would take random weeks off because of the length of each "season". It's a show that won't take more than a couple weeks off at a time.

Vertical Pod with Woj: Jerry West http://sports.yahoo.com/news/vertical-pod-with-woj--jerry-west-153453029.html

Golden State Warriors executive Jerry West joins The Vertical Podcast with Woj for an illuminating visit that covers topics ranging from Kevin Durant's recruitment to Wilt Chamberlain, the Showtime Lakers to Kobe-Shaq, to growing up in an abusive home in rural West Virginia.

West also discusses his thoughts on free agency and players having the right to decide where to play.

It still hurts to hear when Jerry says "we" and "our" for the Warriors and not the Lakers. :frown:

And I also heard him use the, "I respect his position but don't agree with his method" logic about athletes that "protest." :rolleyes

The way Lebatard's radio fans roast pablo is awesome.

Hope this doesn't mean that Bomani would leave Highly Questionable. The three of them are comedy gold. Unless that means they'd bring in stugotz and there would be even more foolishness.

The Stugotz Army hates Pablo

To be honest, I doubt Dan wants Stu on HQ. He always complains that the few times Stu has filled in for Bomani he did a terrible job

When Stu was already giving his hot take on the Durant comments when he was supposed to say a one line sentence.

golic's son is pretty good on tv. I laughed when he said stugotz was his mentor. That's good and bad at the same time. They were paired up when espn did that 24 hour fantasy football app programming.

That 24 hr fantasy marathon was a disaster.

By the end of it, all the employees were making blatant jokes about how much of a trainwreck it was.

But yeah, Golic's son is solid. Not too judgmental yet still has strong enough opinions and knowledge on all sports.

Guess that's why they want to pair him with his dad for their own show.

Should've had a table of cocaine to help all of them function better.

Him and his dad's voices are way too similar. A show with the two of them would sound like a person talking to himself.

Is greenberg as popular as espn thinks he is? Giving him his own morning show sounds unnecessary. I don't like ridiculous sports personalities but greenberg is as vanilla and boring as you can get.

I'm crying right now at work. I love when Greg Cote does the Mickey Mouse voice. He didn't come on the show today because his was sick but they called in to check up on him and asked him to do the voice while he was sick.
