The dirty demon of debate vs the cowardly angel of nuance, might be the new king of the castle

dan agreed to go on the eating and training program heath evans was on for 12 weeks when he was getting ready for a bodybuilding competition. It'd be weird for dan not to be fat anymore or at least in some kind of shape.

Still my number one is Drunk Mickey Mouse

Grew up on Lindsay Soto (now Rhodes) out in So Cal

One of the hottest to do it. She purposely did this thing with her mouth and how she spoke, completely ridiculous but got me to tune in every time

@zachlowe_NBA joins 'The Bill Simmons Podcast' to discuss the Warriors' losing ways, their All-NBA picks, and more

Surprised espn let him go on.. bill's numbers must be terrible

Yeah. That makes sense. ESPN is going to help Bill's podcast by reuniting him with Lowe. We get it brah. You hate Bill Simmons

BTW: He still has one of the most popular podcast.:smokin

I don't hate dude.. was a huge fan actually.. but one of bill's own complaints was espn not allowing him to do certain other shows

Also read a few comments from people on there that they are tired of espn's left, liberal sports personalities.
Absolutely I know I'm sick of all the social justice foolishness on ESPN MAX KELLERMAN is the worst....I tune into ESPN for sports not to hear about TRUMP MAX KELLERMAN looks like he's about to cry every time TRUMP'S name is mentioned...

But a lot of that is just sheer stupidity from the listener

Look at how quick ppl are to jump down the throats of dan and bomani if they even touch the subject matter of race.. they presume to know what they are going to say and shut down and throw out accusations before even listening to what is actually said

And trying to get average joe blow sports fan to understand the nuances of elements of these various discussions is completely a lost cause

A mean I saw Jason flippin Whitlock of all ppl come out of pocket and comment on the issue :smh:

I don't consider it social justice foolishness if they're speaking about something important. Political and social issues do influence sports sometimes. Max is one of the smartest people on the network. You won't just get sports on espn anymore. Even sportscenter will mention other topics.

If stuff is happening are dudes supposed to just ignore it..

Like the guys kneeling during the national anthem.. the ramifications on kaep's free agency

Players/coaches/others involved voicing their opinions.. bathroom bill in Carolina.. dumb comments/actions taken by ppl

on air talent....Wonder who's on the chopping block

Bomani just signed a new deal so he's good.

Stephen A. expanding his reach with a new radio show so he's good.

We know Dan good.

Been rumors about Mike and Mike ending.

And please bring SVP back to radio and be done with Russillo and Kanell :x .
God I hop mike and mike are done...and yes sir we need SVP immediately

Simmons has always been a cornball to me. I guess I get why people like him but I never understood the appeal. Always came off as a kid that got picked on too much and developed a complex as a result.
His basketball analysis isn't that groundbreaking. I read some of his big book of basketball and some of his reasoning for things just seemed dumb and blatant homerism.

Lebatard got **** on lock right now

ESPN’s 30 for 30 podcasts will debut in June

Over the weekend at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival, ESPN Audio and ESPN Films announced that 30 for 30 Podcasts will debut in June. A website has also been launched where listeners can sign up for updates.

Two of the stories that will be part of 30 for 30 Podcasts‘ first season will be “Dan and Dave Revisited,” covering the disastrous 1992 Reebok ad campaign following decathletes Dan O’Brien and Dave Johnson as they prepared for the Olympics, and “On the Ice,” which tells the story of 20 British women who attempted to become the first all-female relay expedition team to trek to the North Pole. Each project currently has a working title.

The podcasts will feature both original interviews and archival footage, as a 30 for 30 documentary would, assembled a team of producers, reporters and ESPN talent. The show will be hosted and produced by Jody Avirgan, who fills the same roles for ESPN’s FiveThirtyEight podcasts.

Trey Wingo will host new ESPN2 quiz show “Bracket Genius”

Trivia shows and brackets are both quite popular, and ESPN is now combining the two. A new Bracket Genius quiz show series from ESPN and Intersport will debut Wednesday (March 15) at 6:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN2 with a half-hour episode describing the format and showing behind-the-scenes footage of the competitors. After that, opening-round matchups will air Wednesday, March 22 and Sunday, March 26, at 5 and 5:30 p.m. Eastern both days, with each producing one winner from four competing teams. Trey Wingo will host the series for ESPN.

Bracket Genius will pit university academic teams, consisting of three undergraduate students, against one another in a bracket-style competition for the chance to have their team crowned the inaugural Bracket Genius Champion and share the prize of $100,000. The final 16 universities represented on the hardwood will match up in the same head-to-head games on Bracket Genius where the winner advances by answering questions spanning history, geography, politics, literature, science, pop culture, the arts and sports in a race to score as many points as possible against the clock and their opponent.

Alex Rodriguez joins Fox as full-time analyst

IDK what you mean about the complex though, he is a pretty chill dude.  Part of Bill Simmons' appeal is that he's not trying to be all macho like normal sports talk radio.  I can't stand how seriously those guys take themselves.
