Jason idiot Whitlock vs Clown Show Smith. I can't pick a side between these two buffoons.
 
I do like the part where he said Craggs and Marchman are Howard's ghostwriters. Marchman on Deadcast even said he was the one who edited the piece that got Whitlock fired. That's not ghost writing, it's called editing. Something Whitlock should familiarize himself with.

Is there even a place for Whitlock outside of ESPN?

Today's installment of Greg Howard ethering Whitlock made a pretty good case for why ESPN liked Whitlock's writing/had him run the "black" Grantland.
 
I don't think Simmons dislikes SAS....now Mike and Mike is a different story

listened to all four podcasts...kind of disappointed. cousin sal is always good, joe house grew on me over the years. he really went out of his way to take shots at espn but it was pretty weak .

he claimed ESPN sabatoged grantland, but based ont his article from may they weren't doing so hot despite a heavy payroll

I literally wouldn't watch PTI when whitlock was on. Although i'll be happy to hear him go in on SAS :lol:

probably more directed at cowherd.. but I don't think he meant it as a slight, just pointing out how anyone could just talk for 3-4 hours or whatever without someone else to bounce things off

He's not exactly a household name or uncovering some earth shattering scandal.

Whole thing comes off as petty. Like a scorned ex-gf

It's a really interesting insider story about the sports media biz though.
 
I'm not a big podcast guy at all.. maybe if I worked in an office or had a long commute or something, but I just never found myself listening to podcasts if I was just hanging out around my place.

I do like Klosterman's writing, though.
 
i just don't like klostermans voice :lol:

i become a big fan of bomani jones. i tried hard not to like the guy, but after BS got fired i started listening to him a lot more. the man is sharp, even when i think he's wrong he usually brings very good points.

Today he talked about Thabo Sefalosha and his trial, why the media isn't covering this huge story. Worth a listen

ESPN radio at least is on point..

Dan, bomani and jalen & Jacoby.. Only people I care about at that place.. I literally only watch sports on that network

nah...he was complimenting Cowherd and saying he's one of the only ones who could do it. That's why I assumed it was Bomani and then he did this mocking voice that reminded me of him lol
