These are the same bottom of the barrel departments who lost a portion of thier forces during the Cuban immigration and drug war days they simply turned in thier badge and guns and skipped town.
Nothing in Miami should ever be taken seriously when it comes to government infrastructure this place is really a dump.
I'm gonna keep it quite blunt....Miami needs to be taken back by the US and rebuilt just like Detroit.
Lets face it folks..Cubans make horrible politicians, part of the reason why this place is a dump.

Hell yea man the first and second generation Cubans are republicans, yet they are some of the biggest welfare recipients in South Florida.
Look at all those same refuges from back then are now senior citizens and leeching hard on the social security system.
They come to the USA already knowing the ends and outs of the system by thier relatives.
Meanwhile turning thier noses up at blacks, Haitians,Dominicans and Ricans.
This is the problem with immigration, they flee thier home country only to come here and try and make it just that...your crappy home country that you ran from.
Cuba has horrible corruption that people wanted to escape...only to run to Miami and corrupt the government and various other infrastructure here.
Making it harder for non Cubans to get into anything that they have a grasp on.
Refusing to except anyone else's language and culture but thier own, even language obviously.
Everyone wants to move to America and wave thier country of origin's flag with pride...but you don't want to live in thier home country and expect everyone to conform to thier language and horrible cultural traits.
Not generalizing and saying all Cubans, but if you can't see this as a problem in South Florida then you're blind.
