Adding some upgrades while keeping its traditional look, the Jordan Super.Fly 4 is built with a one-piece, no-sew base that offers mesh detailing for lightweight breathability. The shoe keeps its Zoom cushioning that looks to be complete with FlightPlate. An external heel counter is built on the back for stability for the foot for all motion movement.

Looks like the 29s but these are pretty nice. I'd cop the black/yellow or black/red pair at outlets

first 3 colorways actually make the shoe look decent. the last 3 however...

. only somewhat decent looking superfly yet imo

to feature rear dual dense cushion and a forefoot tri-base unlocked zoom. ..these should beast on-court.

Why are they messing around with foam in the heel? ( cheaper and will bottom out) Just put in some zoom!

While there are certainly some common design traits between the model and its predecessors, the Jordan Super.Fly 4 undergoes a more radical redesign than any that came before it. The silhouette’s upper is largely one-piece, no-sew, with a preponderance of mesh delivering lightweight breathability. Hyperfuse-like taping touches up the eyestay area, meanwhile, further eliminating seams and stitching, while the hidden lacing is another departure from ancestry.

Below, the sole unit appears to employ Zoom cushioning once again, likely complete with FlightPlate, and on the back, an external heel counter stabilizes the foot.

I want these... I'm geeked for the forefoot unit.  Apparently a three-piece unlocked unit

May be the first super.fly's i actually get, these look better than previous models

Not to mention that zoom

Anyone check out the official release info from Jordan Brand for the Marvin the Martian colorway: http://news.nike.com/news/jordan-superfly-4. I think these actually look really cool and appear to be a pretty good performer for on court use. I know the Super. Fly series in general drops in price/hits clearance not too long after they release, so I am personally going to try to stay patient, read some reviews and hopefully find a good deal to use on court.

@ThePremier11  I'm actually extremely stoked for these.  I've always liked what I've seen from the SF series but these really look promising.  The whole shape of the shoe plus that new zoom unit and traction look excellent.  I will try and stay patient for the price drops too.  Look to be some good colorways coming too

I know I'm eating my words right now, but I just purchased the Marvin the Martian cw through id4shoes on eBay... Along with the marvins there are two other colorways available -- red/blk and the magenta-ish colorway.

Discounts would have been had eventually, but I've been moving some other stuff that I don't use and these I am pumped for.  Will be nice to have a little early before US release.

Should have them in next week

Looking forward to your impressions!

You guys are going to like these...

Off the bat, just from walking around, this new zoom feels spectacular.  I was happy they did what they did with the forefoot unit on the XX9/SF.3/M11 in terms of the design to avoid popping, but to still give good response and court feel.  The result was that you did lose some of that WOW factor that you got from the XX8's forefoot unit.

This newest design however, seems to be done very well... almost like an in-between of the XX8 and XX9.  A more responsive unit it seems, but still not protruding too much (fingers crossed that there are no popping issues).  These say they feature "Flight Speed" -- it seems to be a similar rigid plate or frame like "Flight Plate"

These remind me a lot of the XX8 SE, but with a more comfortable upper.  Traction seems like it will be great - doubt it will be XX8 great, but I'd be surprised if it didn't work well.

Just quick try-on impressions here.  Can't wait to test them out full speed.  I'd be surprised if transition, cushion, traction are anything less than awesome.  Materials feel great, so hopefully full speed they hold up well.  I'll report back as soon as I can.  Feel free to hit me with questions in the meantime

hey @iks mod great pics!  I'm assuming there is no heel zoom again?  And what is the upper made of?  Is it less stiff than the superfly 3?

Thanks man -- and you are correct, no heel zoom, but I really don't see this being an issue.  Heel portion is phylon, which doesn't bottom out quickly as some may think.  When anyone hear's that something uses foam they think, well damn, it won't last.  News flash is that nearly all nikes with zoom or some form of air have that foam carrier.  Anyway, not trying to start a debate with anyone on that, but just pointing out that it should be sufficient.

The upper is mesh with higher strength foam/fuse sections embedded (as you can see the colored structure in the pics), the backing for the upper is nylon -- sort of like what kept the Engineered Mesh together on the Kobe 9 EM.  I don't want to jinx durability but they seem to be pretty solid, support where needed all while feeling nicely flexible.  I don't own the super.fly 3 but based on what I've heard, there's no way these are as stiff as those.  I would not describe the upper as stiff.

In my pics you can see that the lace loops are reinforced by fuse, which is good for that durability.  What you can't see, is that at the midfoot, there is one lace loop that is the same as the straps used on the XX9 that sinch up as you pull tighter.  This is a nice feature to add a little extra lockdown at that midfoot spot.

I really like how this shoe looks and the colorway but the no zoom in the heel is a deal breaker for me. Hoping they put zoom in the heel of the xxx

probably my next on-court sneaker. I loved the Super Fly. 2 and these look even more promising. Just got to find me a decent colorway.
